This was shot on a Canon HG10, it's a nice camera. The only problem is that there's no manual focus which can be pretty limiting.

works well as a nice short on its own, but would also slip right into a cool action film. nice work!

Cheers dude, I didn't make the steadycam. It's one I bought on ebay before I discovered the tutorial one (which I might make anyway!?).

I'm delighted how it ended up more like a short than just a test shoot. Plenty more tests and ideas to come and feedback is always welcome! ;)

Nice one dude. How much time went into this?

We spent about two hours shooting it, there was no script we just made it up as we went along.

Post production-wise; spent a couple of days editing, adding the FX and then colour grading.

Not so bad. Now that you're armed with the knowledge from this shoot, if you had to redo it again, how long do you think it would take you?

I'd spend more time shooting if I was doing it again. Do more takes and shoot it day-for-night.

Ideally we wanted to score the music ourselves but that was just going to take too much time for a test shoot, so when it comes to shooting shorts in the future it will probably take a bit more time.
