@MrThatoneidiotguy i do understand what you're saying though, because some elements ARE subjective. although he has fused these genres, it has to sound GOOD for him to be warranted talented. in my opinion this sounds good, but i think anyone listening to this would admit it is well mixed, and it is a nice balance between classical and pure precussion. so i thinnk its safe to say VS is talented. would you agree? (please argue with a valid point, this is helpin with my english exam :P)
@MrThatoneidiotguy develop. therefore, if you can perfectly perform flamenco strumming patterns then you are definitely talented. in VS's case, the computer doesnt house so many techniques, so his talent is found in his creativity. his knowledge of time signatures, and ability to apply them in a genre that has never really strayed out of 4/4 instantly makes him creative, and therefore somewhat talented. also, his fusion of this style with classical music is talented
@MrThatoneidiotguy hmm.. i think talent should be broken down into 2 things, creative talent and practical talent. pracitcal talent is the ability to use/play your tool/instrument (the computer in VS's case) without making a mistake, and levels of talent are measured by the level of technique. for example- strumming is a fundamental requirement of technique on guitar. if you can strum, you arent talented. however strumming in a flamenco style is a technique which takes years to practise and //
@MrThatoneidiotguy Ok, Talent: "a characteristic feature, aptitude or a disposition of a person" thats from the dictionary, now you may not like what someone does, but as nothing to do with his/her apptitude now does it?
in the present case (venetian snares) well that guy is very good at what he does. maybe your not understanding the work behind his music but that does'nt make him less talented...
THIS TUNE IS ABSOULTELY EPIC IF THERE WAS ANY REAL JUSTICE IN MUSIC THIS WOULD BE NUMBER ONE IN THE CHARTS BUT SAYING THAT ITS ALL THE BETTER THAT IT ISNT
Doesn't really get much better than this. I want to make an abstract movie using this soundtrack. Sure, it's samples, but it's still very inspirational.
Venetian made this propably using either Vienna Symphonic Orchestra or East West Orchestra - both of which are extremely heavyweight softsynthetizators that give out the real deal, real sounds from instrument to instrument + loads of effect choices to be added (tremolo, vibrato etc. etc.) to make the strings sound even more unique. There was also this very heavyweight choir-synth whichs name I cant remember.

no.. the truth is... he did sample all the strings. and i think thats very very cheap dude... so wtf all the world call him a genious, he does make goot breakcore and stuff like drum arrangement, know mean?
esperasoesperas123 - don't panic - the artist just paid a visit to my little country, Hungary and is said to have been inspired by our culture (solemn words.. whatever ×Đ) by the way it had an impact on him so he dedicated a whole album in honour. [Rossz csillag alatt született = has been born under an evil star] that's all.
venetian snares is the best in deed, i heart this album the melodys and harmonys were made by him, but Rossz Csillag Alatt Született, were made by other guys (the beats were dropped by vs of course) is this true? , and if it is true can anyone tell me the name of them?, cause i'd like to hear the originals.
@roquefort88888 i think he used samples. That IS why he was inspired after a trip to Hungary and after that dropped two albums mixed with classical music

wiki the album
there are some samples from some classical. wiki lists the pieces he sampled and on what tracks
anything that isn't those samples i would assume is his own composition though
