DAMN no one mentions the tremolo features. I want to know if they are tremolos that instantly switch to hardtail mode. Every one knows about the damn piezos.
I heard a kid playing a Parker one day and thought it was a cheap crappy guitar that was new to the market...until my buddy told me and I found a used one for $600 now I'm buying one..I make that thing sound like it's screaming those notes...btw go's to show some people just can't make some guitars sound good (Parker and ibanez forever!!)
Just goes to show, these Parker guitars take a lot of stick because they can sound horrible in the wrong hands, but in the right hands (as on this vid) the guitar is stupendous!
Will the $999 MAxx fly do all this to, that 80's metal is what I'm looking for, and the acoustic is amazing, me and my band are bringing back the early 80's thrash and heavy metal...plus what are some good Amps, and set ups to run this bad boy through?
I had one of these and they Break Strings like crazy and that is no Bending
the Humbuckers are 4 wire and can be modified to be split just add another switch they sound great but another thing is that the frets are just glued on
i am seeing a lot of these that are now having problems with that
It really is as good as he makes it sound. Great neck, comfortable to play and great sound. I never get to play anymore but on the off chance I do, it's the guitar I always pick up.
i LOVE parkers! i have a parker p44(cheap model i know!) and its the most versatile guitar i have ever tried or heard! i play slipknot and cannibal corpse on and i can play acoustic ballads or everything that has ever exist i even play slide guitar on it too!...
so basically that guitar is coil tapped snd you have fitted a humbucker neck pickup and piezo bridge pickup, and where can you purchase a piezo pickup
dimarizo bridge pickup. there are 6 individual piezo pickups build into the bridge itself so you have to buy a fishman bridge or guitar that comes with piezos
hey can you make a video on the bridge/tremolo of this guitar? or at least give me some information on it through messaging on u tube? how does it function? is it a fixed a floating or a fender style bridge? ive heard its all three but does the factor that it can do a fixed bridge it can also go into some lower drop tunings? such as drop d drop c or drop b? i used to have a fender strat that could stay in drop c pretty well even with that style bridge but it tok awhile to get it into that tunin
Hi there! There is no effects pedals here. Its only the parker with some chorus from the amp only=) i have a parker fly classic and i tell ya, its the greatest guitar in the whole fucking world=)
dude ive been looking at guitars for the past month when i first started playing, and i want my first electric to do it all on a 1500 dollar budget give or take. its really hard to find a supremely decent guitar that can have the single coil twang of a tele (well close enough) to rock out some blues, to crank it over to the humbuckers, gain it up and play some metal. the 4lb weight, decent price, extreeeeeme versitility, able to go acoustic, custom carved body, and sexy look makes this perfect.
I love Parkers and like the theory behind the design. The wood in the body is deemed to be secondary and primarily there for strength. They are really light and get an awesome acoustic like sound from the piezo pick ups, I tested one last year. Cant afford one at the mo but would love one !
does it go out of tune when you use the tremolo? it's not a floyd rose and doesn't have a locking nut, but i've heard something about this guitar having a graphite nut.. is this true? if so, how does she work?
graphite nuts nuts are made a high quality graphite (like pencil lead) so it is essentially a lubricant for the strings to easily slide and they wont catch thus not stretch out of tune and as long your not trying to divebomb the crap out of the thing it'll stay in tune fine
well i dont have one though... but 2 of my friends own nitefly... they said dont waste your money for p44, save for a lil bit more and buy a nitefly. they dont break that easy... those are just parker haters comment on this vid
from what i gather the P series guitars dont use the carbon composit for the neck and fret board. Other then that im not sure what the difference is...
This is THE MOST HELPFUL guide to getting a guitar I have ever seen... I've been shopping and trying for weeks, but nobody carries the nitefly near where I live... So I refer to youtube videos as to how it sounds
YEAH, THANKS FOR MAKING A GREAT KEN PARKER GUITAR VIDEO!!!

do you have to use a stereo cable ? I heard that you can use a regular cable and still mix the piezo and regular pickup sounds ???
jem7772 2 years ago
Yes you can, It has a pushbutton for stereo
and mono, stereos great to record two
tracks, one acoustic, and the other processed electric, but Its cool in mono to
mix acoustic with a little crunch you can get
really unique tones.
