  • I think anybody who knows something about firearms, and is willing to be fair and unbiased, will find that both the FAL and the AK-47 are both excellent rifles. FAL will have better range and accuracy due to barrel length and caliber (7.62x51mm) while the AK-47 would have better reliability because it has fewer moving parts, making for less of a chance for malfunction. And for all intents and purposes, a Vepr is an AK, and has an amazing track record.

  • aulstian virgian huh whats on your mind hah

  • i think ill stick with my ak47 and savage 30-06 bolt action lol nice gun tho way too many parts

  • Really good demo, thanks. Rather than chewing gum, sounds to me like you have a cold. I have a DSA SA58 that I absolutely love. Has never given me a moment of any kind of problem. Totally rock solid and dependable. This rifle will never be sold, traded or far from my body. It's the one they will take out of my hands when I go down.

  • ahhhhh!!!! the gum chewing ruined the video!

  • Does Fn still produces the Fal for civ or do you have to purchase a used one? Or are they surplus?

  • Awesome overview...Saving up for one now :)

  • great video

  • sound like a fuckin woman chewin that gum ...........

  • the FN FAL is one of the sexiest firearms on this planet !

  • okay... who is honestly recommending the AK47 over this gun? The standard AK is a mass produced piece of crap.

  • @SilenceAngelic

    AMEN!

  • @SilenceAngelic Probably from black ops. People seriously have some dicked up views from that game.

  • @SilenceAngelic Stfu i saw what happens when you throw the fal in mud water ..... right piece of shit of the free world even the standart aks manage that task with ease not to mention my vepr .308 so keep your thrash i roll with perfection

  • @BRATKOV47KALASHNIKOV Why are you throwing a gun in mud water? 95% of weapons will have an astronomically increased failure rate when you put dirt into its moving parts. Yes, the AK may last a bit after that but after a few rounds, maybe a couple of clips, you'll probably have damaged it beyond simple cleaning and repair. Not to mention that the AK still sucks before and after introductions of muddy water. It's still mass produced and designed to be CHEAP, for a large army and poor militias.

  • @SilenceAngelic tha fuck are you talking simple scenario why it may happen that your gun is covered with mud water if you have to get your ass down when you find your self in an ambush and sorry that battlefields grounds arent covered with marble so your gun stays nice n clear what tha hell are you thinking when you type a comment like that 2 every time at the range i throw my vepr in mud sand filth just for fun.... bullshit with damage beyond repair and inaccuracy! QUALITY!!!

  • fn herstal is belgian -.-

  • @adidam1706 blij nu?

  • @keuteltjes ja ^^ bedankt voor het lieve antwoord XD

  • great gun, perefect for cod campin! hahaah

  • dont want to sound like a cod nerd, but this shit goes hard on zombies

  • SHOOT IT

  • Best field strip I have ever seen on a FAL. The camera angle was just perfect and up close. Simple instructions, easy to understand for dummy like me. Thank you very much. People like you just make this world a better place. Post more videos if you have other rifles. Enjoyed it very much. Again, appreciate very much.

  • its nice gun but im still like and think ak47 is the best

  • @mgawad0 When it comes to power sure its good on power (7.64mm Ammunition), but when it comes to mobility, stability, accuracy, and recoil, it doesn't do so well. The AK-47 is not light, when you fire the rifle, it has lots of recoil and you lose you accuracy quickly. The gun itself is durable but when it comes to firing the guns barrel actually wobbles, so when you shoot fully automatic you not actually hitting what your aiming at.

  • @mgawad0 AK is an assault rifle, Fal is a battle rifle... can't compare 'em

  • @trabbucche ?????????? My vepr .308 beats the fal in every aspect of course you can compare xD

  • @BRATKOV47KALASHNIKOV Yeah, Except in accuracy, recoil, cost and part availibility. As far as I've seen. the FAL has similar reliability + the ability to adjust the gas for fouling.

  • @mobiusonethree the fal has shit on the ak i shoot excellent groups with my vepr lol if you dont have money to buy some nice stuff dont bitch about the rifle in general so grab your 200 buck wasr and have a nice day ahhahahah i had a fn fal im from europe and i bought it in herstal so no replica shit and no way it is comparable to the ak the only thing better over the ak47 is the .308 cal with my rifle i overcome this problem......

  • @BRATKOV47KALASHNIKOV Fantastic groups im sure. Its alright, if you want to play with your tarted up RPK w/ shit mags and no good way to mount optics, go ahead.

How many countries adopted the Vepr? 'Cause the FAL is at about 90.

  • Great video man.

  • Never chew gum while reviewing! Extremly annoying.

  • jesus fucking christ

its like taking apart a space shuttle

    get a ak47

  • @kreigsmann This is actually quite a simple design and tear-down to this level is only necessary occasionally. Cleanup after a visit to the range usually takes no more than 10 minutes.

  • @depravedone its very annoying when the rifle needs a phd in engineering just to own it.

i guess ive seen worse like the m16 or a mg36.

ide own one of these and know it inside and out if these guns were legal to own.

  • @depravedone You can easily purchase a semi-automatic version of these in the states. Unless you live in the Peoples Republic of California. I'm not sure about NY, NJ and MA since they are getting all ban crazy in those states too. I saw one at a local gun dealer yesterday for about $1k

  • do you think it would be a gamble to buy a century arms fn fal? is that a century arms rifle?

  • I didn't know the FAL didn't have a rotating bolt. Doesn't the AK-47 have a rotating bolt? And where's the spring that pushes the bolt carrier forward?

  • @chilidress Well if you're using different grain ammunition. There's different makes of 7.62x51/.308 winchester and some brands produce more gas than others and sometimes you need to regulate whether to let more or gas into the piston because if you don't have enough pressure pushing back the piston it won't push back the bolt and you'll have a failure to cycle the bolt.

  • @chilidress because sometimes more gas is needed for the gun to cycle when it is dirty but also the lower the gas setting the lower the stress on the parts but the gun still needs to function reliably

  • Sounds like F'n Fail Lol.

  • austrian Vergins lol

  • if the world was comin to a end and it was every man for himself would u choose this weapon? if so what barrel length would u get and y?

  • @WHITENUT45Definately a FAL. 18 inch barrel...

  • hi i am from india and we manufacture this rifle in india.

i have a question if we dismantle/strip open the way u showed does it not cause the weapon lose sight zeroing?

  • @amit79ful i dont think it would, wait the model that your making fires the same 7.62 by 51mm right?

  • @miggyjiggy10 yes sir ur are correct it is 51mm.

but thats good info u suggested may be my info is wron i just heard somewhere that the sight zeroing is lost. But may be ur correct.

anyways i love the weapon our troops have done wonders with it event though rest of the world used condemn it.

  • @amit79ful haha no problem!

oh yea its actually a really nice assault rifle, is your country making the ones that a semi auto-matic or fully automatic? cuz the semi auto-matic ones are supposed to be really accurate!

  • @miggyjiggy10 yes we make the semi-autos

  • @miggyjiggy10 we also make 5.56mm version called INSAS(Indian Small Arms Systems),

  • @amit79ful whoa really? that actually sounds pretty good!

and what is the muzzle velocity for the 5.56mm version?

  • @miggyjiggy10 i am sorry i dont know that part, but u find from the website of ordnance factory board govt. of India.

  • @amit79ful ok, well thanks man! i hope your country does good reproducing other weapons! good luck!

  • hi i have a quick question. lets say a friend of mine purchased about 30 of these guns and is looking to make them NJ legal. What do you typically do to disable threaded barrel? is there a better way than just welding a nut over the end?

  • When you separate the lower from the upper; do you need to re-sight the firearm?

  • @npconman Are you serious!?

Of course not,it is battle rifle, not for sport!

  • i think you helped me decide on which new rifle to get myself,do you recomend the century arms fal g1 sa sporter?is that the one in the vid?

  • good video, made it easy. i cant adjust my gas system by hand like you, do need a tool or something?

  • @1040charlie There is a tool for it. Probably means the retaining spring and the bottom is alittle stiff. Not a bad thing. I think maybe I'm going to go over the FAL in a vid.

  • I very much enjoyed this video. I have an FN-FAL, and love mine. Great video, keep posting. Thumbs UP vid!
