dude, you're gettin a headache cos you have your head between your legs, jus sayin
this thing was meant to be played either lying on your back or with the stand, which you dont have.. but surely playing it stood up, with the thing perched on a high shelf or somethin, would work a lot better?
Ok I agree that it should not have been marketed as a portable game system. On the other hand reviewing it without the stand and with only one game if just not fair. Infact the system had a few not only good but great games like wario land(1 of the best platformers ever) and jack bros. Not get me wrong the virtual boy is no ds but its no tiger gamecom either now that was garbage.
Great review. Virtual boy is what happen when you try to release a concept before the technology is ready to support it. The 3DS now seems to be doing very well, well besides the fact that so few worthy games have been released for it yet.
nice review good job and i dont own a virtual boy and wen i was young i heard about em.they looked cool but seeing all of this makes me happy i dont have one anywayz nice review im gonna watch more
lets face it people the only reason why people hate the virtual boy is because of avgn oh and yea... STOP THINKING THAT WAY ABOUT THE VIRTUAL BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice vid man, I got a virtual boy a couple of weeks ago from my grandma it seems it was from a cousin it's all boxed and fortunetly hsa the stand and yeah I wonder why the games are so freaking expensive everywhere even here on mexico at flea markets anyways keep the good work
Great yard sale score man. Good thing they didn't release an RPG for the thing with the playing limits. Nice filming man, footage is hard to get of VB.
@Noyjeetut Oh man, imagine if there was an RPG for Virtual Boy? It would've been painful! LOL. And totally, I couldn't say no to 5 dollars for it, with or without the stand. Filming the game footage took some effort, but thankfully I figured it out. lol. Thanks again for watching!
@OhCrunchberries Thanks man! Yeah, the calendar is a Nintendo Power calendar they released back in December. It has a classic game every month. It's pretty cool.

just buy Jack bros for about 100 to 150 dollars. wait 10 to 15 years...then sell it for 1000.

This is by far Nintendo's biggest failure in my opinion. Good thing N64 came in about a year later to make up for it.

Ugh, I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like playing without the stand, because it was enough of a hassle playing one with it.
The part @ 3:52 basically says it all. It's like you're being punished for trying to play it, which is exactly how the rest of us felt I'm sure..
As for Jack Bros, I hear it's that price because it's supposedly a "rare" game. Guess people will collect anything.
