Somehow Sue Son is still no where near being in Vanessa Mae's league. Sue may be inspired by Vanessa Mae, but in her performances she seems to be only Vanessa Mae's shadow, without her own originality and personality.

You are right. Vanessa Mae is actually VERY good at violin, although her style/interpretation might not be taken seriously by classical musicians.

Sue is no where near that good. With more training, Sue might be ready to study violin at university, and after a few years, she might be close to professional level. But Vanessa is already FAR beyond the average professional violinist. It's like comparing Bruce Lee to a little kid who knows some karate.
