I am grateful to have my Dad home but some of his men didnt make it. God Bless this nation, keep the angels close to the troops, and I will soon be with them. If I die in battle, I will be happy that I got the chance to follow in the footsteps of so many great men.

I were in Afghanistan 2004-2005 as a peacekeeper, and I met patrol of american soldiers and they were maybe the nicest people who I have ever met. Respect from Finland to all american soldiers.

I am currently deployed in iraq as a 68W10 (Combat Medic). I have 1 month left in this god forsaken country. My unit has lost multiple soldiers this deployment and not once have i fired a single round as is the case for a majority of my fellow soldiers. We have not killed a single person, civilian or insurgent for that matter. So tell me why my friends are dying and i can't fire a single round in retalitaion? You call me cowardly for being over here? Fine, but remember, I'm here and you are not.
My great uncle George, was killed in action flying over Sardina on Nov, 29 1943 and he was on his last mission :( it brings tears to my eyes because I really never got to meet him, My grandpa gave me his Class A's uniform, And now I'm planing on joining myself, just to give back to these men and women! i respect them with all my heart! I am in the army and being deployed in 3 weeks,its awesome to see videos like this that give thanks to all of the brave men/women who have given their lives.Everyone has the same rights,however I am happy to know that their are good people out there that are willing to take the knife out our backs when people protest us and treat us like criminals when we are abroad and when we return home,some of us not so lucky. He does not have to die in war to sacrifice his life as most believe. His life includees the birth of his brother's first born child, that he wont be there for. I am currently deployed in iraq as a 68W10 (Combat Medic). I have 1 month left in this god forsaken country. My unit has lost multiple soldiers this deployment and not once have i fired a single round as is the case for a majority of my fellow soldiers. I teach English as a Second Language, I let my students see this and there wasn't a dry eye in my class... None of my students are organically from the US but you could feel the since of pride in them for being apart of this country, you can see some different groups of people represented in this tribute that served and sacrificed!! guys im 15 guy and i think a girl or woman can do whatever a man can just because we started something befor they did doesnt mean they cant show us up and prove us all to be wrong.... i know some guys that r my friends and they think girls, woman cant do what we can. I'm will to bet that half the people that think that haven't tried it for themselves. almost my whole family is in the military and i wish they weren't because every time i dont know if they r going to come back!

I am in the army and being deployed in 3 weeks,its awesome to see videos like this that give thanks to all of the brave men/women who have given their lives.Everyone has the same rights,however I am happy to know that their are good people out there that are willing to take the knife out our backs when people protest us and treat us like criminals when we are abroad and when we return home,some of us not so lucky. We dont fight bc we hate whats in front of us but bc we love what is behind us.
