  • it was a couple of conservative republicans who did this home invasion and attacked this family.

  • time to stock up on baseball bats and shotguns...

  • Blatant incompetence and stupidity from Cheshire PD!

Investigate, litigate and take away the badges from the bums who handled this so poorly!

  • @MondoReyTV1

    Stop blaming the police !

  • @MondoReyTV1 what else could they have done? no one called the police before Jennifer Petit was forced to go to the bank and the teller called them...by that point there was nothing that they could have done to save her or her daughters

  • solitary confinement makes no sense. it protects these animals from inmates who would rape and beat them.

death penalty makes no sense bc it's letting them off too easily. painless death and no cruel and unusual punishment in prison.

  • I am physically sick and emotionally distraught trying to digest this horrifying atrocity. Those 3 beautiful ladies, may their legacy and goodness prevail through all of this. My heart goes out to Dr. Petit, the family and friends of those 3 innocent lives. NOT ONE SINGLE SHRED OF HUMAN JUSTICE WILL EVER BE ENOUGH for those two animals that committed this heinous act. The real justice will be served on the day those two demons return to hell.

  • Hammurabi laws ? That is the only way, but include these cops who did not help and we are paying them to do that....

  • I hope they fry. An eye for an eye...

  • The house alarm or pet/dog is meaningless in this case because we thought we'd already got the police in place. Bad people need to be treated in bad way. Otherwise, the law won’t be too dangerous or even quite respectful for the bad guys. That’s why I kind of like HAMMURABI LAWS. EVEN EXCHANGE, right? The murderer should be punished the same way as they did to those three females in daily basis before their last day. Please do. Thank you for let me post.

  • Police could had waited near entrance (or around) of the house and catch the one from the car first and take? care of the second one by using him as hostage or something. Police to me so far is, just making noise with their sirens around the neighborhoods? to disturb our sleeps. Sometimes a bunch of police cars will be spending too much OT time to end the car chase/theft etc. (To be continued above...)

  • The law is still protecting the murders to live longer. You all know that they are? guilty for home invasion, sexual assault, torture, murder, burglary, arson, and…. I am not here to blame because what to blamed is very obvious. I hope the templates will be updated according to the situation and learn from the history. (To be continued? above...)

  • The bank manager did the great job by urging the police even before Dr.’s wife leaving the bank. She clearly provided all require information to the police in very short time. Police? got serious attention ONLY AFTER their cars got hit/smashes by the Dr.’s car that drove by the murders on the way out. Police claim at? court as it was their standard protocol to follow for that kind of cases. (To be continued above...)

  • This is a real heart breaking story but I could have been handled differently to save lives. You see, Dr. Petit’s wife (Jennifer) did the? good job by communicating with the bank teller / manager with very enough information in very short time.? (To be continued above...)

  • She shouldnt never gone back to the house to give them the money, she should it gone to the police. Unfortunately she didnt and they were able to rape her and kill her and her daughters( her husband scaped) when she came back to the house.

  • Does anyone else see the irony of this happening in a town called Cheshire?

  • no, stuff like this has never happened in cheshire ever. we are a quite little town in the middle of CT

  • too much vance

  • and our neighborhood is great, we all get along.

  • i live in cheshire,ct...i lived in that neighborhood and loved them very much. RIP

  • A touch neighborhood?

    Not at all.

  • Not in the least. It is what would be described as a "sleepy suburban town," where many people know each other.

  • This just proves that the justice system and people that are good by nature aren't in charge; it's the criminal and the insane. I see it all the time. A man in conn. killed 9 women and was put on death row in 1994 and is STILL living. It's like we have more sympathy for criminals than the victims. And it's going to be Mr. Petit's taxes that are going to pay to feed these bastards who killed his family.

  • i no the petits very very well and it is shocking what happened. Also my Uncle is a cop in chesire and one of the totaled cop cars was his and what Cforks2 said they go there as fast as they could

  • I never knew this family. I live in State College, PA. But I have thought of this tragedy every day since it happened...every day. Last January I drove out to their house and laid flowers and just sobbed. My heart is broken for all of you.

  • people saying cops toke to long to get there! DONT COMPLAIN! would they rather have no cops come at all?

  • You people have no constitutional rights to police protection - the supreme court has made this clear many times.

Learn how to defend yourselves. Sheesh.

  • I live in Connecticut and I now keep my doors and windows locked every day!
