I quit watching WWF for a while after this, I was so sick of and started to REALLY hate Hogan by this time....I started watching again when I heard he lost it again to Yokozuna and had left the WWF, I was so happy. Savage was better than Hogan, but had to job to him. Piper was better but had to job to Hogan, too. Hart never got a chance.....too many including the legendary Andre the Giant let this spotlight-hog go over too often. I still hate Hogan to this day. Multi-time champ, full-time CHUMP!

This was a spur of the moment (ie right before the Hart vs Yokozuna match) thing to give Hogan the belt so no real plans had been made for Hogan to have a title reign. Hence, he didn't even wrestle or defend it until he lost to Yoko @ the KotR.

It is well-known that Savage was angry at Hogan for this, and rightfully so. And Hogan still acts like he doesn't know why so many people hate him!
