Almost anything can be used as a bottle opener, I myself wear a tungsten carbide ring for that very purpose, dumb girls get really impressed when you open a non twist off with your "bare" hands :p

It's funny, my friend always wears a belt with a bottle opener and we are Canadian so we are used to screw caps. Anyways, we went to a party, nobody had an opener exept him and everyone was going up to him and asking to use his belt to open their bottles all night.

I hate the whole "1 is none" thing. First of all, it just sounds stupid; it doesn't make any sense. Of course 1 flashlight is better than "none" flashlights, 1 does not equal 0. Secondly, I find that civilians almost exclusively use it in reference to flashlights. They don't carry a spare house key.. no spare cell phone.. no spare gasoline.. and, for the most part, no spare gun. All of those are just as likely to fail as a flashlight, and just as important..

@ tags, i can handle it. why not have 2 sets of keys with a light on each one? you don't want a ton of weight on your car keys because it'll fool up the ignition.

I just purchased two of these, one for me and one for my dad. The blade is knife, came super sharp, the light is also great. My complaints come with the bottle opener, which is too small for the size of the tool, and mine is loose, so it can open and close on its own(and in my pocket). On the contrary, my dad's opener works perfectly! For $15 shipped, it is the (almost) perfect package that I needed for my keychain.

I have a CCkifelite, similar idea, but no bottle opener. The CCknifelite has a slde forwaed blade design & a flat tip on the blade instead of a point. This is to allow use as a screw driver in a pinch. Which is a pretty cool idea. They pointed out how they had seen many people chip & break knife points using them as a screwdriver & that was where they got the idea to make one to allow for this. Mostly I use this tool as a package opener for stuff I buy at the store. Yes it is on my key chain
