I thank GOD 4 a pastor who don't mind comin out his office & openly rebuke a service if he sees/hear that it's dead bcaus of ppl not flowin with th service, wantn 2 b pumpd up, or just came wth attitudes. HE may say, "The last time I lookd, I didn't see no casket stretchd out across here. Ain't nobody pumpin u up, thos that want 2 praise HIM will. I tell u, I just blieve tht when u come 2 church u might as well hav church. And he bgin 2 exalt th service jus by spkn a word, & GOD takes
@zike389 The Power of God Unleashed, sounds like a good sermon topic:). I pray that HIS power has still been unleashed. HE is so Great and Awesome. Services has been mm,mm, Good. only in a baptist church will people sit down on god instead of getting up and giving him the praise you know you played the heck out of that organ.. i think the pastor was a little jealous
very jealous... that church never moved like that ever till i got there and he would tell me music dont move the congergation.. but when the spirit is movin why not play along??? but yeah thats why im not there anymore couldnt handle me lol..god has opened even more and better doors..
I think it's unfair of you to bulk all Baptist churches together like that, some do realize there is no "special" time to praise the Lord, that's what feeling the spirit is all about. I think maybe this pastor has not learned that which also might explain why his attendance looks a bit low. I am glad you did find a church where you can enjoy the service and the Lord's word.
well if you look at some of the other videos church was packed...trust its other reasons why attendence is low and a reason why im gone... just pray for them..
@crazipraser... it is only my opinion that it happens only at baptist churches.. my experience at COGIC church are totally diffrent they are pentecostal so that are more in sinc wit praise and worshop than baptist churches....
@nemarn You would not be able to fairly make that statement unless you have attended every Baptist church in the Kingdom...unless you have done so, this statement is very biased. I, of course, understand though.
@nemarn: Not all Baptist churches sit down when praise is going about. Some Baptist churches are more traditional and quiet. Some Baptist churches are more free in praising God. I have been to some dead COGIC churches that have sat down while praise is going about. Why do people always want to make a difference between denominations when it comes to praising God? People praise God in their own way.
