Originality? I don't know but what i know is that now you don't have an annoying girl with you instead now you have someone that can heal you when your life is low and help you when your in danger. the demo has unlimited time to play, but after you complete each of the 2 levels, it ends. Unlimited play time, but you stick in one area. (Which is actually quite large)

Resident Evil 4 didn't have zombies either, but they were people infected with parasites which controlled them. I'm not sure what the issue is in this game, but I don't think It's the T-Virus, but I'm pretty sure the Umbrella corp. is involved like the other games

I wasn't rude. I met stupidity with a natural response. RE4 was an RPG/Action/Horror WITH elements of a shooter. Not a shooter. Just because it has guns in it doesn't make it a shooting game. Anymore then Halo having vehicles makes it a racing game.
It took me a while to rescue Ashley when she was "stuck" to the wall... -hmm trying to give out any spoilers-... rescue her... I got so tried of her screaming "Help me Leon". I shot her... and of course we both died... but it gave me a giggle and was well worth it.
i hate Capcom because he only do reeditions and remakes of great games like street fighter or megaman and in this case resident evil 5 is the same that resident evil 4

the t-virus is pretty much beaten now they just have to clan the world from the infection and other diseases/parasites that cause the same symptoms as the t-virus.
Good looking game but I still wish they didnt get rid of zombies, I liked the idea of surviving against massive amounts of zombies in the RE universe rather than parasite infested humans.

Almost like Left4Dead except the enemies don't come in hordes,your in first person and you only have one ally(maybe you will have more but i guess 1 at a time?). Don't get me wrong here, i know RE4 came first than Left4Dead but i didn't say that RE5 copied L4D. They just have similarity in co-op mode.

if you are talking about the three life action one then this fyi again, the three previous movies has nothing to do with the game. Not even the RE1. Well, maybe they have a bit but in the game there is no such person called Alice.

the demo has unlimited time to play, but after you complete each of the 2 levels, it ends. Unlimited play time, but you stick in one area. (Which is actually quite large)

Which movie you saw? the three life action movie? for your information, the life action movie has nothing to do with the game. The CGI movie(Resident Evil Degeneration) is the one that has something to do with re5.

Resident Evil 4 didn't have zombies either, but they were people infected with parasites which controlled them. I'm not sure what the issue is in this game, but I don't think It's the T-Virus, but I'm pretty sure the Umbrella corp. is involved like the other games

Robin444C, they made it like that to make gamers more scared. Tho this game isnt scary one bit. Its more like a shoot em up game, not a horror survival one. Lots of things i love about it, They brang back the chainsaw ;] . and I loved the stand and shoot in RE4, Just funner, more challenging, if u put running and shooting, the game would be way too easy. .__.

i dont like it that they have gone to action shooting everybody but the controls of an RPG. they should make the option to use strafe when walking and moving about when aiming

It was supposed to be difficult. The whole point of ether shooting or walking but not at the same time was to both make the game harder AND more adrenaline charged. If You want a easy game go play hello Kitty island Adventure with the rest of the little girls.

Developers says that new parasite, which is in RE5 has some relation with a Progenitor (Mother virus).

It took me a while to rescue Ashley when she was "stuck" to the wall... -hmm trying to give out any spoilers-... rescue her... I got so tried of her screaming "Help me Leon". I shot her... and of course we both died... but it gave me a giggle and was well worth it.

theres a few things i would do to improve this
1.flashlights would make sense they are agents but the flashlights have batteries
2.make this for the ps2 or at least gamecube and wii(because nintendo systems started it)
3.give chris a machine gun because uh duh he is an agent its almost as stupid as why they sent one dude to find the PRESIDENT'S daughter instead of a whole swat team

They only sent in Leon because they didn't know who the traitor (Krauser) was. If they'd sent a SWAT team, Krauser would have sabotaged it.
I agree that they should do a Wii port though. It makes no sense having #4 on the wii/gcn and #5 on the other two systems.

Buncha SWAT guys online all over the world securing a city full of zombies. If not creating numberous cities, and going from city to city. A Mass operation or something.

BTW, for those who thought RE5 doesn't feel like Resident Evil cuz there's no zombies are fucking idiot.Zombies or T-virus are no more, ok.They're extinct along with Raccoon City as well as Umbrella Corp..and even they do reappear in RE: Degeneration, Leon and Claire gonna take care of it..if u want zombies, buy Wii with RE:Umbrella Chronicles..RE 4 is not a side story, it's a main story of new horror that involved parasites and I reckon it will be scarier when it fused with T-Virus like Nemesis
