Level 20 is the limit. If you buy the Broken Steel DLC it raises the cap to 30. 30 is the max for anything, at least on xbox and PS3

but if you have pc you can get a special mod that inceases the cap level to 100 and also adds some nice perks

(if you have pc and looking for mods go on [fallout nexus] they have over 10,000 fallout 3 mods and most of them are massive improvements to the original game)

I wish there was multiplayer in Fallout 3. They said it would't work because of V.A.T.S., but they could just take VATS out of multiplayer, couldn't they? I wouldn't care if I didn't have VATS if I got to play at least 2 player.

Think about it, the combat in fallout isnt all great, vats makes it bearable, the slow reload and firerate is no good, and the time it takes to kill people would make online really crap :P just wouldent work. Think of CoD, its one of the biggest 360 online games, incredibly fast paced, and fallout just would be the complete oposite
