Why do the professional dancers dress like such sleaze buckets?

@qbulb A little strong wording there, don't you think? I don't think their costumes are "sleazy" at all. Sure, I'd double take at a woman wearing a latin cut dress in public, but she's covered so as not to be lewd, but we can see her body in all its beauty doing what it does best. If you spent your life honing a skill (and in turn, your body), wouldn't you want to show it off? Plus, you have to consider where these dances come from and the feeling they're trying to portray.

When i compare modern professional jive, jitterbug, etc., dancers with the filmed dances from the years when those dances were all the rage--the modern professnls come up short
