You're right, this is not racy, I give you that, but the fact remains that your catch phrase still lacks creativity. It's obviously derivative from "Think Outside the Bun",with the fundamental difference that it makes no sense in this context, because this toothpaste (as most Crest products) do come inside a tube!! I'm not in advertisement, but common sense tells me your catch phrase would never get picked solely on this basis...

it was derived from one of the oldest sayings of my generation, "Think outside the box". Think outside the tube means, to think about what this is going to taste like once it leaves the tube and hits my tongue. Do I want the "same old" taste when it happens, or do I want something more bold that will make me enjoy brushing my teeth a bit more and make it seem like less of a chore. Think about it, if Crest is adding flavours it's because people are bored of the same old taste.
