I had one like this for awhile but didn't keep it for long. Compared to the "L" model the 8-horse just doesn't have the power. The long-rod, high-torque cast iron "L" model will work circles around this unit. Plus I never could get used to the "Forward/Reverse" lever. It's just the opposite of the original Gravely. Never could get used to it. Still a nice tractor -- don't get me wrong. Just not my bowl of Kim-Chee, it turns out.
