This song and this entire anime really gripped me.

And In the end it left me looking at life differently.

Its messages about life and death were very inspiring...for one to truly live they have to be able to die, our short time makes us focus on what we care about and we treasure the time we have...If we have all the time in the world then we are not really alive..This anime was very touching and deep, and in the end it helped me see mortality as less of a morbid thing.

@OttoeCamn Casshern Sins needed to end about 15 minutes than it did...I was like "aww wonderful ending...no...wait...don't ruin it....damnit..."

Still, I cannot let the last 10-15 minutes ruin 22 1/2 great episodes (yeah I know there are 24 eps but I was not fond of ep 18...that one was to wtf for my taste)

@OttoeCamn it was the interpretive dream-like episode with Lyuze figuring out her emotions.

There was some great images in there but overall I found it overly strange and their use of the black and white photos of a real life girl were very jarring and I Iitterally said "stop that" the second or third time they used the photos...

I can't say more, this anime really got me down in the dumps each time I watched it but I kept coming back to watch more. Beautiful animation, unique art style, great high-speed fighting, and capturing soundtrack.

@jyras4747 true. this anime episodes some makes you feel warm and others will break you down but never enjoyable. casshern episode explore the aspect of humanity especially regarding the hope and despair. i've never seen such deep and warm portraiture of violence in life; and how the chances at life can bring out the ugliest in anyone. casshern is a really good mature anime.
