Not only do they have great power weight ratio but the engine is quite an amazing n/a 4cyl, it has a great stroke, very underrated. I dont like softtop or roofless cars whatsoever but they do look gay and poses rollcage safety issues not to mention the vibration issues, how the body is mounted on the frame and the weak rear subframe design.

@rev2redcom Depends on which model you refer to, yes the 2L was good but some people swapped or stroked to 2.3L maybe they prefer more torque across the powerband as opposed to being able to rev at a higher rpm and the 2L had better head flow.

@docstruthers there is little power but you can do it easily if you know how, stay away from the irtbs if your gonna daily drive it, and if you like the amount of money in your bank account haha, just do the normal stuff for now, intake/exhaust/computer/headwo­rk/cams/suspension work for sure, the 15 wheel will work just fine. as for the camber it varies from front to rear and the different type of car, suspension, etc...

@docstruthers It doesnt take any added power to drift. All you have to do is make the rear end a stiff as possible, and now you have a very slow, poor handling car... I mean "drift" car.

ITBs are a total waste on these engines, they will NEVER make good power NA, theyre designed to be turbocharged and thats the only thing they respond to well.

But since youre interested in driofting you obviously dont care about performance, so just do whatever.
