  • Nice vid, very helpful, that bread looks great. Seems like the light setting makes it kinda brown on the edges, sure looks good. Thanks!!!

  • You should take the pale out of the machine to load the ingredients. That way you will not spill any ingredients into the machine to burn later. Ingredients should be refrigerated in summer, not room temperature. I keep my flour and sugar frozen year-round. Yeast should be kept in the freezer too.

  • Who the hell has got time for this! Get a life and just go to the local supermarket

  • good cooker

  • I use Robin Hood Basic White Bread Recipe, Small loaf.

  • using your fingers for everything...:))

  • Would this work just to knead the dough for frybread? I may have to look into this...

  • i just putted bread to bake like the recipe sad, but the dove is gluish (glues to a fingers), so i added a flour, but still on the on the mixing a glue mass?

i still have to wait to see it will turn good, but nothing like the video show.

  • What's the honey for? I can't imagine it having any affect on how the bread is going to taste.

  • you shouldn't have to touch the dough, thats what the neading paddle is for.

  • the yeast should not touch anything moist.

  • omg I love love love the 1970's educational video air of this clip. The voice, the music, it's brilliant.

  • Be careful choosing your bread machine. I've got a Backmeister 8625 that broke after a few months of regular usage. That's because the mechanical solution for transmitting force from the engine to the vat was arguably made by amateur engineers, as it relies on two tabs made from bended plate that are stressed from both sides. A solution comparable to Uri Geller's spoons.

  • The crappiest machine ever!!!! Why should i have to remove the kneating pedal from inside??? Why i need to remove the bread after the baking proccess??

Do i have to feed the machine also with my breast???Buy a Kenwood, put all the igredients in, push th button and go to sleep, shopping, in a bar, play tennis, soccer, whatever you like and not to hang around the machine and in three hours your bread is ready for consumption.

  • @aerotsaperdokoydono he could do the same thing with that machine. he removed the paddle so there wouldn't be a hole in the bottom of the loaf. Basically he added extra steps.

I like the kenwood, in the US it is sold under the DeLonghi name, and only the BM450 is available. I'm looking at that, or maybe a zojirushi.

  • that's a really nice looking bread. however, can't use eggs, honey and some other ingredients. what is the model of the bread maker? is it expensive? thanks in advance

  • @oleksiypilyugin It's Cuisinart cbk-200. The crust doesn't look even colored enough to me but maybe that's bc the lid was opened when baking which would cause the heating element to switch on more. What's great about Cuisinart's bread machines is that they're metal so you're not cooking volatile plastics and they beep b4 last rise so you can remove the paddle so no big hole on bottom of loaf.

I'd like to know why so many vents, which I think would cause heating element to switch on more.

  • @oleksiypilyugin At least I hope that black plastic is just molding and not in solid pieces under the metal.

  • thank you so much i finally made bread today alone with your help! God bless you!

  • I have an Toastmaster B M do you allways remove the paddel on the B M before baking?thxs for vid good stuff

  • great video!!! I love it!

  • OMG THAT MUSIC AND VOICE ARE FUCKED MY FRIENDS TOLD ME IT WAS LOL

  • why do you have music in th backgroud it is iritateting

  • Is this a cake. LOL !

I bake real bread with hole grain flour.

  • thhats not a bread, thats some kind of cake.... a good healthy bread needs only water, wheat, salt, yeast and a little cooking oil....and stiking your finger everyvhere is not cool, you dirty...

  • ugh gross. can't you get a knife or spoon or something? you have to use your hand the entire tme.

  • @tegomassislove

Lol, then wash it off afterwards...?

  • @tegomassislove what's wrong of using his own hand provided they are soap washed. its his hand, so let it be. his finger, his bread. fair enough

  • @tegomassislove Why is that gross? Are you grossed out by bread dough that was hand-kneaded?

  • @tegomassislove

I'm with you. I was thinking the same thing. Also it looks like he licked his left ((booger finger)) after the honey scoop and then used it again immediately.

I know people kneaded bread by hand in the old days but a lot more people died of disease back then too.

Today’s world is global and gross bugs are also global. We need to keep that in mind and be practical.

  • @RadiantMeteor well i'm glad someone agrees. it is disgusting.

  • when can you add items like cheese or garlic in the bread machine process?

  • That beep is for removing the paddle? I thought it was the add extra's beep?

  • This is to cool :) . I never thought of taking the little mixing thing out of the machine. Great, it's in the middle of the night and thanks to your video I'm hungry now lol.

  • THANKS

  • I don`t bother removing the paddle, If your that fussy, Take the dough out and put it in a normal oven, Basically using the breadmachine to mix , knead and rise the dough, I belive the Elderly and people with arm injuries use this technique.

  • looks tasty :)

  • I just go to 7/11..

  • I might be wrong but after kneeding you can talke the paddle out so it doesn`t make such a hole in the bread.

  • @FeignofCordor he did...then he flattened it so it filled in the gaps

  • this guy use a finger ? - it;s horrible !

  • @haridasa horrible? I make all my bread without a machine since I cannot afford one just yet. I don't use a finger, I use all my fingers! I'm pretty sure the guy washed his hands thoroughly. lol

  • good recipe, thx for sharing!

say, 'i'm on a horse.' and let's see if you sound like the old spice guy.

i'm just teasing, really. you got a nice strong voice.

  • Nice. Thank you.***

  • Great Video... Didn't want a Bread Maker when it was first recommended... Now I couldn't live without one. It's quick, easy and delicious.

  • My kind of video! I love it!!!!

  • Straightforward and right to the point; love the demo!

  • If you are having trouble getting the bread to rise enough try this..add the yeast to the warm liquid and wait 10 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. Works like a charm!!

  • Also, an important tip is that the yeast should be kept in the fridge, once the pot has been opened.

About 2 years ago, I was wondering why my bread was not rising as it was only a few weeks before. The reason: I was not storing the yeast in the fridge. BTW, it says so right on the cover of the little 113 g. pot.

  • @sergedec

I usually use them all in one go so this is news to me

  • Thanks for this good video. It was informative and fun.

I've always heard that the material of the enclosure/pan is very important. It the container made from aluminum of some other metal?

  • I try this it was good.

  • How do you make a loaf without the crust splitting? Mine always splits, I use normal flour not bread-flour, Will this make a difference?

  • Hi: I don't know exactly what you means by "crust splitting". All I can tel you is that I use the "light" setting for the crust.

According to what I have read about bread flour versus all-purpose flour is that the bread flour renders a finer texture of the inside of the bread.

But, it's difficult to find and then, when I find some, it's twice the price of all-purpose flour.

  • @sergedec I've had that problem making bread via hand. You just have to make the crust split where you want it. take a seraded knife and make some gashes across the top prior to baking. The crust will split there, and it will look nice, instead of like you failed.

  • What kind of yeast are you using? axtive dry or instant?

    Thanks

  • Bread machine yeast

  • bread machine yeast = instant yeast

  • Did you make jam in you machine? If so how did it come out?

I have readed stories on how it boil out in to the machine. But I would like to try it. Any input on this.

  • No, I did not

  • just got a machine, was nervous I was not doing it right, your video is a big help!

  • Removing the paddle is the best advice I hear since I started using my machine. And my instruction never mention this. And I had the machine over a year now.

    Thank-You!

  • The instruction manual I have is the Canadian version which is in French and English. On page 10 of the English side of the book, "TIMETABLE FOR THE CUISINART CONVECTION BREAD MARKER", the extreme right hand column is titled "AUDIBLE TONES" and "remove paddle". Also, every single recipe in this book has the mention to take-out the paddle. I also have a *.PDF verion of the manual which I got from Cuisinart, if I remember correctly.

  • Do you think this would work on any bread maker???

  • Which baking cycle did you select on the bread machine?

  • Cycle #1---white

  • you use your finger !?!?!

    gross !

  • Yes...And I had shoved them in my rectum, before

  • ahahha!!! Good answer!!

  • Video author obviously an A2M Connoisseur.

  • what is the name of this bread machine?

  • hi Sergedec

I have tried many recipes with my breadmaker. Yours is undisputably the best recipe. The texture is beautiful, and crumbs do not fall out easily. Excellent bread. Thank you very much for sharing it. God bless you!

  • Chrispy???!!!

  • what type of yeast

  • bread machine yeast

  • I want one of those bread makers. Imagine some diced bacon fried with its own oil... Chrispy but not too chrispy with some garlic. Then added to the bread in this machine whilst kneading. Oh boy!

  • The BEST tasting bread i have had in a long time. Yummy Yummy . Really a must have recipe, thank you.

Try it and you'll love it!!!

  • Brill. I've been making 'bricks' for ages. But my recepies do not tell me to remove the paddle? Great vid. Thanks.

  • Thank you. This is a great vid. My bread came out PERFECT!!! Thank you. I'm so happy that I can make bread now. Good bread is soooo expensive. I'm going to save bundle and have a fabulous smelling house in the interim...! Ta boot!

  • if you took out the blade, why is there still a hole in the bread at the bottom??

  • OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

When the blade isn't installed, what do you see when you look at the bottom of the pan?

Answer: the small shaft that the blade mounts onto...hence the small hole in the bread. If you don't take out the blade at the correct time, the hole in the bread if much larger. Also, it makes it very hard to take out the bread from the pan when it's done.

  • This is one of the best, and most easy to understand descriptions, I have seen of the bread making process, using a bread machine. Very professional, and very well presented. Thank you for sharing this. Ed

  • I didn't know about the kneading blade and always got stuck in the loaf .Thank you for sharing!
