We attend a large church similiar to this here in the states and it is just awesome when we sing this. The annointing is so strong! Pastor usually prays for the sick after this song and we all continue singing and worshiping to it. I know people have said some ugly things about the writer of the song - as Christians we need to get over that. We know more than anyone that Christians are not perfect and mess up at times. I'm surprised Hillsong hasn't asked to have this video removed. I know they made a public apology and attempted to remove this recording. His false testimony is a terrible witness and a shame to Hillsong's music and reputation but even more so a blasphemy against the name of Christ. We can forgive him, yes, he's forgiven and I'm sure he will be restored... but his false testimony needs to be recognized as repugnant.

It is not to be trusted as an authentic translation, but is rather someone's paraphrase to try and make it sound more urban. I would suggest reading a more literal version if you want to know what it really means. However, it may be good as a commentary, but nothing more.

Yesterday at service our lord filled the place. i felt so great that pastor tami spoke about healing "Jesus is my healer" that day i cried more than i have ever cried. i was prayed for that i be healed from all my sicknesses, that even the doctors cannot find out.. I LOVE YOU JESUS i know you will heal us all.

i totally understand addiction.... and we shld all learn to forgive... im still hurt by wat he did... But God is my healer and if this song can help me reach him... ill sing it continuously no matter wat micheal did... And in truth if u cant forgive him, how can u truly mean this song when u sing it???

I love this video and I love this guy! It shows why we need our Saviour Jesus! This guy wrote this song out of his hearts plea to be healed. He was up on that stage suffering and going through. He came to God just as He was. God didnt judge Him and we shouldnt either. I am thankful that God used this young man to write song. Could he have wrote this song with such depth if he wasnt going through what he did? God can use anyone, even a donkey. Glory to God!

I think he's cancer is true... not physically but spiritually... i'm a Christian and i'm struggling in my weaknesses. but i'm not holding back. in fact i'm fighting it with Jesus in my heart... you can see in his face that he can't smile the way he want as he proclaims the Word... but i know it's just his way of fighting he's spiritual illness just to proclaim the Word and pull many people's soul to the feet of God before he confess to the media... just wonderin' how's he now... love him so much

Guys look!!! We all know he faked it and hurt the world... But if we stop judging him and talk to the Lord about this, maybe we will find out that this song was meant for the healing of our spirit! he was addicted to porn... it was on his mind.. sin is a cancer to our spirits and this song was about the disease in his mind.. Jesus forgives our sins before we make them... Mike was crying out...Pray for him!!!

Hillsong is worldwide known and the Michael story raised the spiritual issues that need addressed. GOD speaks through circumsatnces and situations. The hillsong church is the platform of this issues. Its not only Michael its the whole set up of hillsong. The spirit of lies and deception is what need to be exposed existed. The problem is beyond Michael. Its time to wake up from our slumber state people.

Yeah... I have no idea what I think about this song, the band or what happened in regard to the entire fraudulent claims of having cancer.
They're a good band? They have good worship music? But yet... Faking cancer to inspire people spiritually is a major deal. It's a huge disconnect in logic and spirituality, Biblical morals and ethics.
I am glad they made the apology public. Which was, no doubt, a difficult thing to do. God will bless them as He sees fit.

I'm surprised Hillsong hasn't asked to have this video removed. I know they made a public apology and attempted to remove this recording. His false testimony is a terrible witness and a shame to Hillsong's music and reputation but even more so a blasphemy against the name of Christ. We can forgive him, yes, he's forgiven and I'm sure he will be restored... but his false testimony needs to be recognized as repugnant.

Yes and No. He is reading Isaiah 53 from a contemporary "paraphrase" known as "The Message" Bible. It is not to be trusted as an authentic translation, but is rather someone's paraphrase to try and make it sound more urban. I would suggest reading a more literal version if you want to know what it really means. However, it may be good as a commentary, but nothing more.

It's kinda sad. He has a good voice. He can play guitar. And OBVIOUSLY is a gifted lyricist. I bet if he had just gotten a label to realize it he wouldn't have lied about having cancer and been a pretty good worship leader.

It is really a shame 2 c that Mike G. was a fake, but God still no's what He is doing. Even though this song was not written by someone battling cancer, God has used it to bring hope to those battling cancer and other disease. The words are still true. "Nothing is Impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible for you. You hold my world in your hands. I believe you my healer. I believe you are all I need. My portion, more than enough for me. Jesus your all I need.
