For those who are wondering what are the lyrics for the background vocals in the chorus, I can't find them anywhere: "Hang the sign upon the door, I say don't disturb this groove (All I need is just me and you) Just a way to say that I'm so into you (Just so that it's understood) And the feeling is so real (Just so that you know) Don't disturb this groove."
I don't know why they don't put those lyrics on most of the post. Its significant to the song.
@vstarr89 it has by Tupac and the Outlawz , the song is called Lost Souls, I've heard this song But havent heard it in a while because I didnt know who made it, so I remembered that 2pac sampled it and found it . This original version has that retro feel that I search 4.
1987 buying my fist computer parts for $1,000 at Radio Shack walk in the door and this was coming out of the new floor model hi-fi stereo system. That week I bought the Album and tape.
Still feels the same as then. This song will will be pass from generations to generations.
I first heard this song in september of last year. The minute i heard it oh man. I was hooked. Now i get to thar the instrumental version and i think that is pretty neat

I would say this track is tied with Nite And Day by Al B. Sure for the best beat of the 80s. I'm surprised I haven't heard this sampled yet.

2:27 is a magical part in this instrumental - the way the notes just break is brilliant.
Thanks for posting.
