I found a promo 45 of this in a record lot, along with dozens of other '80s rarities. Really, I feel that these rares could go up in value if more people collect '80s on vinyl singles. Why hear the same old songs? There were lots of great songs that didn't get far past the DJ! And many are BETTER than some of the hits on the chart!
I dont know, Fred was always courteous to me as a mad Tyla/Beserkley fan from the US studying in London showing up at the door of his Kingston-on-Thames office one day. He gave me a test pressing of Cannons of the Boogie Night. Fred "just knew" Sean could be big in the U.S. And worked hard to make it happen. But I knew Sean's music was too smart for the U.S. music scene of the day. "And every time you sin
Q: Oo's the twat in the red dungarees at the end of the video & why's he in it? A: That's Sean's manager & record company mogul Fred 'watta' CANTrell, who paid for the video - "I'm fackin' appearin in it, right! said Fred. No show without Punch etc... Where is Fred now? Working on a building site last I heard! Oh, the irony - TOSSER!!!!
If you know where Fred is - please let me know. I don't know who you are but you sound like a disgruntled Smirk or an abandoned wife. Fred wangled his way into the shot when the artiste was taking a 'comfort break'. PolyGram paid for the video - not Fred or Zilch. However, Zilch was set up with and run entirely on Sean's advances and income. As a manager, Fred was a very good builder - enough said. You know who I am.
My old friend is not a disgruntled anything just a very honest person and one hell of a bass player, we knew Fred was a good builder but it was tooooooooooooo late when we found out and the feckin house collapsed, I hope he is still on the building site and cuts at least one toe off with a spade, a twat in dungarees is a just description :)
This wasn't directed by Mike Nesmith. It was directed by William Dear, who directed stuff for Nesmith's production company.

Possibly the worst song ever created by man or beast. Scrap that, beasts can make better songs than this

Die 80er waren schon echt stark ! Tolle Musik. Kann man immer wieder hören ! Besonders dieser Titel. Sollte man öfter im Radio spielen.
