hey guys im a pretty decent sniper in halo 3 but my skills with the smg are still shotty any one got any tips

@Falloutfan961 smg is pretty easy, it's like an assault rifle. just shoot a person at mid to close range and as u get closer, stop shooting for less than half a second and continue shooting. as you probably noticed by now, assault rifle and smg gets weaker the longer you hold the firing button.every first few bullets that come out of a gun is always stronger than when your almost needing to reload. hope this helps.

@qwaza3 thanx i made a map with a bit of glitching and ended up with a map where you cant move or see but you can still shoot people so the SMG is a good choice if your randomly shooting as opposed to the sniper you also spawn with

to answer some of the "things" on this first page of comments. You COULD do custom games in beta. also, at 0:46, you do see a guy melee another guy, because there is melee in halo. just because the main guy in this clip is going for splatters doesnt mean everything else is out. also, in beta testing, the current "splatter spree medal" looked like a wheelman medal.

I'm assuming one of the players just used a melee attack by accident or because he was too close to splatter the other player. You can see the medals near the radar along with text saying he just splattered the other players whenever he kills one of them.
