@Alchaeon1 It is for the benefit of those with little knowledge of what and why they are doing the procedure but since you seem to know it all maybe you should be making your own much more professional and presented videos eh!
DIon, as always, thank you for your time and effort in making these videos. They are very much appreciated. One question, do you find as you adjust the alt or az that the reference star will return to centre of the reticule? Gemini for G11 has a similar routine I used once and had a problem with the star centering in one axis only (X or Y) but not necessarily returning to the centre point.
@hickeydp Thanks for the feedback, if the adjustments seem a little out on both axis as you describe, this 'can' be an indicator that the mount isn't bang on level, even though it's undocumented and unconfirmed, I've had similar and did give a little tweak of the other axis just to tighten the alignment, then do a second run and it's usually 'in'. Also if you use EQMOD it's important to put it into 'dialogue' mode (dropdown in eqmod screen) or eqmod can interpret adjustments as being alignments
@Thouchins Hi, Matthias works a regular job and it depends what part of the world you live in re time zone when he receives messages, he's usually quick to reply and I'm sure you're registration will be with you soon.
@Thouchins Not that I know of, I don't know if you can control celestron with other ascom software as I'm basically a skywatcher guy, but alignmaster is ascom compliant. If there's a celestron ascom control software then it should be fine.
...talk about TAKING 15 minutes to do 5 minutes worth of work
Just a suggestion - perhaps you could concentrate the advice part of your presentation into one youtube video and and ramble on in another video.
Far more efficient and less tedious and annoying

I believe you said your using AlignMaster with your EQMOD software.
From I've read, EQMOD does not work with my Celestron CG5-GT mount.
Do you know if this has changed?
