  • GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR GENORUS HEART

THANK YOU FOR SAVING THOSE DOGS

  • * cries * SO sad... Plz stop making these sad videos D:

  • Nice. And that's why cats are jerks... wait what?

  • This made me cry lol. Thank god for people like yourself. It really irks me when you see stories about dogs being put down without a chance to show they can be trained not to be aggressive. Personally I wouldn't have known where to start so I admire you so much. And it is great that you were able to save all the dogs :) x

  • i feel like crying.. happy tears.. :)

  • Thankyou so much for such a beautiful story, you should see me, I've got tears running down my face but I'm grinning so much. I promise as soon as I can I will adopt a dog, I can't right now cause I'm at uni and so can't afford the cost or the time, but I will and I mean that.

  • Your story made me smile after a long hard day.. and encouraged me to do rescue again..

Many things have taken me away from it.. but it is a must in my life..

I dont know anything that brings more joy than rescuing a child or animal

  • What a beautiful story .

  • That was a wonderful video. Thank you. I'm amazed at how well you have worked with him. I have a seven month old puppy who recently started having accidents again and I'm unsure what to do, let alone a dog that was that aggressive. Your a great person.

  • You brought a king home with you, it's a pitty that you didn't took the female and their puppy too, but anyway they're all safe now, a good lesson of life how it is in reality, very far from our sick minds. Send a huge hug to cerberus and his family wherever they are!

  • God bless you , the true human beings should be like you !

  • we need more people like this in the world thank you for doing that yur a great person.

  • @joejay52 He's a mix breed but predominantly Dutch Shepherd. He is gorgeous and really lovely personality too :)

  • you are incredible!! good bless you!!

  • What a wonderful story for the Christmas season!!! You were an angel to Cerberus & he repaid you with trust. I commend your efforts with all the dogs you've helped - I have ferrets & some have needed rehabilitation similar to what you've done. God Bless You!! I donate to an exotic pet sanctuary & was a "Santa" to one of their ferrets this year. it's a no-kill sanctuary...ANIMALS NEED OUR HELP!! Thank you so much.

  • Your an amazing person! and you have a very amazing dog! thank you or sharing this story :)

  • You are a sweet and decent person. This video was outstanding!!! Thanks for sharing and yes, I do donate. Thank you!! God Bless you!

  • @VIKING33NY Thanks for your comment, I'm confused by the donate part? It sounds like you're answering a question, but I didn't ask. Are you just stating that you donate or did someone ask you?

  • @22bradshaw I donate to help animals....

  • @22bradshaw I care.use my money to help...I do care

  • @22bradshaw I just mean...Yes, I do donate to the shelters

  • A dog that is constantly confined and caged WILL turn aggressive.. My dog was also abused the same way, we adopted her and now she's the queen of my house!

Thank you for saving these dogs.. you are an angel :)

  • Well done. I was reading a post you put on a dog forum, spreading the word about the aggressive dog situation. Unfortunately, animal rescue centres and charities don't have the time and money to do this with every dog. If I could make one point, it would be to be careful of using the 'Alpha male' term and phrases like 'lead him', as these are quickly becoming proved wrong in favour of 'breeding pair' etc., as well as the fact dogs that don't see us a 'leaders', more as 'friends with authority'.

  • @mydogkanskidrums I know first hand that Rescue centres can't do this with every dog. Many dogs were PTS where I volunteered. I'm trying to get support for Rescue centres, it's the public that can make a difference.

When it comes to terms & phrases, I think it's ridiculous to focus on that. This video is about hope. What I do clearly works, it's gentle and comes from love & understanding of animals. (That's not directed at you, just certain people on the forum)

    Thanks for your comment.

  • @22bradshaw No problem. The reason I mentioned about the terms you used is because, as you will already know, the whole 'dominance' theory versus 'positive reinforcement/negative punishment' theory is a debate that has been in full flow for some time. Obviously, you use kind tactics that do not pressure the dog to do anything he doesn't and allow him to accept you in his own time. I just don't want someone like you to come under too much criticism, because these terms are really focused on now.

  • @mydogkanskidrums Yeah it's a shame some terms, even when used innocently can spark off negative reactions. People should just watch the dog & see how they grow in confidence towards the people working with them. I don't dominate Cerberus. I have a look I give him if he's being cheeky, he's learnt it means stop or calm down & other unwanted behaviour is ignored so he learns he gets nothing for it. I don't do anything like stand over or pin down any dog. I'm very positive. Are you a dog trainer?

  • @22bradshaw I'm not a dog trainer per se, but I do volunteer at one of Europe's largest animal shelter, working with the dogs. I take a great interest in training and behaviour, studying it in my free time and then spending as much time as possible at the animal shelter. It is a shame to see a lot of the dogs being euthanised in the shelter, but that's just the way I suppose. However, I would really like to begin working with more problem cases to give them the chance that they deserve!

  • @mydogkanskidrums The video was to show how Cerberus is so great & he could have been lost. He's amazing with aggressive dogs, excitable pups & many more... He is teaching me so much & helping me teach other dogs too. Cerberus was going to be killed. That would have been such a great loss. Not only for me but for my clients & their dogs. There are more Cerb's out there that need saving, & it would be great if others could find them. Good luck with problem cases, I really hope you find your Cerb.

  • I REALLY love dogs!!!

    1:16-1:20 man..!!!

    Speechless!

  • @enigmarodrigo That's my favourite bit too! And it's the moment that stands out most in my memory, when I knew he had finally accepted me. Funny thing is he hid behind me yesterday when the kitchen door slammed and scared him, then I saw you left this message. Good timing :)

  • people like u are amazing. with people like u there is hope for this babies.

  • what is this song name?

  • @Shekillaboom The song is by Snow patrol called Run. It's on the credits at the end.

  • @22bradshaw tnxxxxxxxxxx =]

  • Beautiful video and God Bless you for caring. Cerberus is one beautiful looking boy, I am so happy that he is safe now. The bitch that you also helped could have been his sister as they were so alike!!!

Just goes to show that with, patience, understanding and lots of gentle love, the majority of dogs that are deemed unhomeable can be turned around!!! Well done you xx

  • @lyndachabane The female was very similar, but definitely older, so couldn't be sister.

Glad to see that the people commenting on here can see that with a little understanding these dogs can be helped. Thanks x

  • This needs a thousand words or none----just this: wonderful!!!

  • Wow. That is amazing. It's like he knew to trust you. You gave him what all those barking dogs in the shelters and animal control needs... a chance. For that, I applaud you.

  • sad

  • BTW, Awesome video

    5 Stars

  • Hi Bradshaw, I made a video for a NGO to change people's perception about street dogs. So far it has worked locally but now i want to spread it world wide. Please review my video response. If you like it then please accept it. Thanks in advance.

    Best Regards,

    Harman

  • Hi Harmen

I don't have a video response... I looked through your uploads, is it "Why to have a dog"? I looked at that one and it is very touching. I travelled round India and know what it's like for the street dogs there. I will accept the video if you re-send it to me. Thanks for your comment about my video

  • Hi Bradshaw,

I am glad you liked it. I have send the video respose again. BTW awareness is spreading amongst people in India and the way street dogs treated is also improving.

    Regards,

    Harman

  • Wow, thanks ParsonJRT. Good to know I have some strong back up out there. Are you a DL too? Couldn't see your name on your channel

  • That was a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing this.

  • I can nothing but fully appreciate people like you.

  • respect,great vid.thx

  • look like a half dutch shepherd or australian cattle dog?

  • Anyone watching this will like to see the update on Cerberus. Go to my channel and have a look :)

  • Our dog came from an animal shelter aswell, I'd recommend anyone who's thinking about getting a dog to visit the local animal shelter.

There's honestly nothing better then giving a dog that has only seen bad luck in his life a second chance.

Max has been with us now for 2 years and I can't even imagine not having him around.

Great video, you're compassion is an example for all of us.

  • Nice video. A great thing you did. My Wesley is also seen as "aggressive" because he snapped at someone. The only reason he's alive is because he didn't actually bite. The Humane Society sent him to a no-kill shelter of last resort. I had to prove that I could be his alpha before they would let me adopt him. He's never been aggressive or even assertive with me. I'm his leader and he likes it that way. He's handsome, smart, agile and funny. I adore him.

  • that is amazing!!!! My mom went to work one day and her friends sona dn fiance came, they had a dog with them.... she had been kept in a small kennel all her life, they didnt want her so they were going to have her put to sleep, my mom told them not to, and she took the dog, the dog was 7 months old at the time, she is now 2 years old living with me, her name is Sophie and she is my baby X3

  • YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!! Such an inspiration.

  • Thank you so much for all the work you do for dogs! You are an inspiration! Wonderful story and awesome video! I love stories like this as they are sad but really happy at the same time! 5*s for you and for your pup! Thank you for sharing it with me!

  • Very nice video, thanks for sharing.

  • Truly lovely. THank you.

  • after watching this video i had to sign up to leave a comment...this is such a amazing video...you are such a blessing to this world..If only there wuz more people like you! :)im sure if we lived closer we would be best friends...How is he doing? he must be so happy to be with you :)

    p.s

He is so beautiful..what kind of breed is he?

Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

  • It's a misconception that a wagging tail means a dog is happy... it's actually a sign of heightened emmotion. You have to look at the body language and facial expressions, not just the tail... look at some of the other pics. you can tell from his face and posture that he isn't happy. And if you still don't think he was aggressive then you should know, he chipped his tooth trying to bite people through the wire. Even though his tail was wagging.

  • I am not a dog expert so i cant say your wrong or wright, but i do think it was AMAZING what you did. We need more people in the world like you ^^

  • when you asked why is this dog so aggressive? i was like...no he's not his tail is wagging?? O,o

  • A magnificent dog for a magnificent person. All my respect to you. Magnificent example.

  • This is amazing and makes me cry everytime, you have done a great job! xxx

  • Man's best friend. God Bless.

  • Respect, Patience, and Devotion at its best... Hopefully you will inspire many, you are in the right field. Beautiful Vid!

  • I am so lucky to have him... I didn't know it but I was looking for him too. He saved me just as much as I saved him

  • How awesome!!!!!!!! The video is incredible to watch & both you & Cerb are blessed to have each other!

  • Every time I watch this I get a bit emotionally spirited then go hug my dogs.

  • Hm, so you have this ability as well...interesting...

Didin't know there were such a job as a dog listener.

  • i am already back in the uk... haven't seen cerb for 3 months now! he will hopefully be here next week, fingers crossed that it all goes to plan

  • Wonderful story :)

So at the end of September both of you coming back to the U.K?

  • Fantastic - well done Samantha!

Just goes to show what love and patience can achieve not only with human relationships but with all sentient creatures.

  • absolutely brilliant, just goes to show what can be achieved with love, patience and trust.

  • absolutely brilliant, goes to show what can be achieved with love, trust and patience.

  • Inspirational :) +++++

  • so you basically brainwashed cerberus?

  • Sam did NOT brainwash Cerberus. He made the choice to accept her leadership of his own volition. There was no violence in what Sam did, Dog Listening methods are gentle and use no gadgets. There's no magic involved, it's just about connecting with the dog in their own language.

  • It's all in how you treat them. Great success story! Thanks!

  • Back to watch again, so uplifting!! :)

  • Hi, thanks for all your comments. It means a lot that people are being touched by Cerb's journey. Getting closer to his arrival now!

  • Boy this one pulled on the heart strings. What a wonderful and incredible story.

  • Wonderful story and yet another example of the joys of compassion. The World needs more folks like you.
