The only reason it has potential is because of the fact it's light, but still stock it's not so great, but then again, its not meant to be fast its for economy. The suspension is average, it's still front wheel drive, the transmission isn't bad, but the braking still isn't too good. You have to swap the engine to get any real performance. Any car can be fast with money, it's just the fact that it's funny that the mods costed probably more than the car. Not bad for a fit tho lol.

the fit is not a race car but has potential to be. It has a close center of gravity creating a tight turning car. Its super light as well. Even tho it only has a 1.5 vtec its acceleration is decent out of the show room. The top speed is week though. 5th gear lags horribly. So focus on more central engine parts like new headers ect. I fuckin love my fit tho. Anyone have any good intake and exaust ideas?

The ser sentra was made since 1991 and weighs 2200 pounds, and has 145 hp, and has a jdm cousin called the pulsir gtir that is a race car so that is completely dff, als the crx is a 2 seater, and is classfied as a sport compact car, the fit on the other hand, handles like garbage, is half way to being a mini van, doesn't come with a sporty motor, and last but not least it has 4doors. The fit is a sub compact car, all i'm tryin to say is it is a subcompact car don't make it more, cuz its not

I agree that the fit is not a sports car, but if your reason for it is because its a four door, you are wrong there. Take the mitsubishi evo and subaru wrx for example. Both have four door versions, but are still considered general sports cars. Also, the Fit has pretty good handling for a B segment car. It was actually tested against a corvette z06 for handling, and it was better off in the slalom test. There is a video of a supercharged Fit against a bmw m3 on a track, and the Fit won.

Check out some of the foriegn names in tuning Fujita, TEIN, HKS (foriegn?), Injen, they all have stuff for the honda fit. Why? because there are plenty of people buying stuff for it and tuning them.
