To be fair to IE, Microsoft has definitely started taking notes from other browsers, and even included a few new ideas of their own (Web slices, fewer security holes, and such) with IE8. Sure, IE6 was terrible and behind the times, but MS has picked up the pace.
The only thing that keeps me from using IE is the comparatively-little customization available. I love my addons. And I don't use Chrome because I don't trust Google.

Wait wait, lets think about this, there is a better internet browser, its known as Flock, and though its based off the Firefox source-code, listen to this, there would be no Firefox without Netscape. Nuff said. Oh and internet explorer sucks balls. Thought I should add that too.
