@ruach2351 God does speak through nature, but no revelation from God will ever contradict the teaching of Scripture. Jesus makes it very clear that the Scriptures can't be broken (John 10:35), the false teachers of his day were mistaken because they didn't teach what the Scriptures taught (Matt 15:1-6). No Scripture came from man, but is from God (1 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

They recognize the significance of the oral tradition and realize that the scriptures are inspired by the wisdom and will of God but mediated and written down by man and put in to human words. You are talking about "authority" and "power" but I don't think the priesthood is about those things. It is actually about being a priest in the image of Jesus Christ who is a man not a woman. You are hung up on the idea of power and that priests are somehow the "bosses" of the Church. I don't think of the priest as a "boss." You seem to think this. The function of the priest is to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and administer sacraments, not about "bossing people around."

There were women in leadership within the Pagan realm, however not in my Realm (Jewish). Acts 6:6 - Apostolic authority is transferred thru laying on of hands. This authority has transferred & stems from the original 12 apostles.

Acts 15:22-27 - preachers of the Word must be sent by bishops in union w/ the Church of which the authority traced to apostles.

My brother in-law (who wants to become a priest) told me that a nun (in San Antonio) was defending womanpriests in the Church, and so far she continues to give instruction there to priest candidates.

Jesus states very clearly in Maria Valtorta's Peom of the Man-God that Mother Mary is the Co-Redeemer and Co-Mediator as well as the Queen of Heaven. Jesus decided to give us the whole story and he dictated it to Maria Valrtorta in Italy in the 1940's. Check it out. Also, Jesus has rights over his own story and decided to give us a much, much bigger picture of how he taught than what is in the New Testament.

Furthermore, Paul does say that woman shouldn't talk and that they should cover there heads. Both of these things I don't think could happen if they became priests.
