  • thumbs up for the snail and slug pellets in the back ground :) (y)

  • look at that intergalactic human slime!

  • works on leather?

  • are you guys Pooves?

  • fair fuckin dinkum mate

  • you never mentioned to vacuum first

    you guys are annoying

  • That's not a steam cleaner - just a regular wash and dry vacuum cleaner - I have one like it - it works well but steamers are way more effective on dirt.

  • I thought about doing something like this until I priced it out. The cost of the machine rental, chemicals, etc, ended up being more than just having it done at the detail shop near me, and they did a far better job than I could have. So, might wanna check around before you spend on this :)

  • what i the song at the end>???

  • Girlfriends socks.... I wish...

  • sounds like you got some crap in your voice

  • lololol

  • Rug Doctors are useless in Auto Detailing. Get a Extractor with a inline heater. Mytee has some amazing Detailing machines.

  • Hey guys I'm looking to steam clean my engine. Wheat steamer should I use?

  • @DudexW7x - you need to use a pressure washer and degreaser for that, not a steam cleaner.

  • Hired the rug doctor today. Really does work!

  • I want the credit song.

  • For one car just use a spray bottle (2.97 at the Home Depot).

  • Hey Guys, really love the show! Never a dull moment! :)

Mind if I share a tip with you? I am an auto detailer here in the US, we use this method. :) Try it out.

You clean the seats with the steam cleaner like you did, or even scrub by hand with some cleaner, then take your air nozzle and crank up your compressor, and blow out the seats. Put the nozzle right up to the seats, and go back and forth. You'll be amazed what more comes out! You'll see dust fly out.

  • that steam cleaning machine isnt available where im from, crap:( i have to pay a fortune for car detailing services :(

  • thanks guys, now i can see how i'm gonna clean my black car seats without using a good old brush and soap

  • What year is that gti-r?

  • @mo3thug You can rent them from your local grocery store. I think it's like $20 a day, I don't remember to be honest.

  • Is this thing safe to use on carpets? I mean, will it get them wet? Because I don't want to have mold issues down the road.

  • @mrjost55 I know its been a while mate but the main thing about cleaning any kind of upholstery or carpet is dont over wet them and do it on a reasonably warm day, leave the windows down possibly even the a/c on to help dry it out properly. Give it a reasonable amount of drying time you shouldnt have any mould problems at all

  • @CallumT1990 You're absolutely right. I did just that and I also used a hair dryer to get the carpets completely dry. My interior turned out to be just like new, it's a great product!

  • lol

  • rectum

  • What was the name of the machine they used???

  • @007Knightjp

    Rug Doctor

  • Can you do the headliner?

  • With any luck I'll have a video response to this within a week! Marty will love it. Moog maybe not so much. I'm selling my bus.

  • The previous owner had slime issues!! Lmfao!! Hahaha!!

  • Rugdr's and similar machines work the best, but even a Bissell Little Green machine will work great. Don't use the manufacturer's brand cleaner, use Folex for the stains and Oxyclean or even a little laundry detergent for overall. 10x cheaper

  • What the best solution for getting motor oil out of my car carpet?

  • will this get water spots out of your seats?

  • wow, cool.............

  • I never knew dirt was not of this universe

  • 25 bucks for 24hrs at bunnings, 20 bucks for chemicals and 100 bucks deposit. That's for the rug doctor too.

  • Nice one!! I just watched your video then headed straight out to Woolworths, got a rug doctor and spent the arvo doing my two cars. Worked well! $39 for the machine and about $40 for the chemicals -- cheaper than getting a professional to do it!

  • greAT Vid

  • where is the best place to buy one of this vacuums?

  • so the anti foam goes in the waste bin?

Gonna clean my car tmr for the first time =)

  • hahahahahaha go the aussie blokes!

  • I have leather seats so they are easier to clean in my turbo RSX-S. I jsut wash my interior mat and that seems to do it

  • @MaddDogg81 i drive a solid gold turbo bently and my staff deal with it's regular detailing and maintenance.

  • amateurs

  • Clean .... Love pulsars !!!!!!!!!!!

  • This would RAPE Top Gear,Fifth Gear and all others!

  • i have used one of these machines before and it does not do a good job at all, the machine to put it simply is a piece of crap, it is not even close to as strong as what the professionals use, it will not do a good job at def not worth the 60 bucks i spent renting this, i was better off putting the money into a having a proffesional do it.

  • what if you have leather seats :(

  • you should finish off with some scotch guard

  • What if you have leather upholstery?

  • Hiring one of those upholstery cleaners from kennards is like $50 for 4 hours! crazy

  • @cruddiestcrudever thats cheap!

  • LMAO sniff sniff

  • rug doctors are $18 us dollars down here. 1 full day and you get the attachments. Chemicals, you can just use vinegar, pine sol, and hot ass water. Presoak stains with baking soda and water..vacuum up.

  • my car has a bunch of crud, though i am not sure it's intergalactic.. would this solution work just as well?

  • do you guys sell rugdoctors or something? check out my channel for the Daimer, they really work. Ive used both and Daimer industries makes the best cleaners out there.

  • hey @jstern7979, im really happy for you and imma let you finish, but the rug doctor makes the best cleaners of all time... best cleaners of all time...

  • @mightycarmods

Can yous' do a video on Cleaning and Detailing the Engine and Engine Bay?

  • Comment removed

  • Have a professional do it for the same price and a much better job. If you think that is steam cleaning you better get yourself a new thermometer. Tap water is about 120 degrees. Professional carpet cleaners can get water to over 220.

  • @78kevinl agreed... you could get a cleaner to do it for like, $50... to rent the machine, plus buy all the chemicals and all, you'll spend around $40... and i would GLADLY pay $10 more not to have to lug that heavy thing around and do all the shitty work myself...

  • what do you do for leather upholstery?

  • nice motorbike!!

  • "Human slime" LOL!

  • Nice vid but thats an extractor not a steam cleaner.

  • thats crazy i just cleaned my azteks seats and it was soo dirty

  • thats crazy i just cleaned my azteks seats and it was soo dirty

  • what's the song at the end ???

  • wow I just discovered you guys and you guys are so funny hahah and ya'll give really good tips I like the headlight restored and this never thought of steam cleaning my car I'll give that a try.

  • hey guys, just wanted to know how you should clean leather seats. Is there some sort of vacuum for them?

  • Love video, but its not steam cleaning, its hot water extraction.

  • What kind of seats are those?

  • what if you have leather seats D: lol

  • tcan i use this on my bed? y dog pe eon it?

  • is that a vtr 250 I just saw?

  • @deltacharlie88 yea bud with a P plate

  • I did this while my mum hired it for the house the other day, even cheaper haha.

  • doin this tomorrow!

  • is it possible for me to procure the car steam cleaning machine in india . if yes please let me have the contact details . If not how / where can i order for the same

  • I believe this is technically a wet-vac, not steam cleaning. True?

  • These work wonders. I did my cloth interior seats in my convertible and they looked like knew when done.

  • hey, i got electricals and buttons on the floor of my car. do u think it would ruin it?

  • Thanks for the video guys! Ill be renting a rug doctor to clean out the interior of my Ford F150 this weekend!

  • omg sending bit thanks to you guys. gonna be taking care of mine in a week.

  • can you make a youtube video of the electric space wizard?

  • Great video as always, but dont use the rug doctor on door panels!!!!!!!

Especially if they are cloth glued with adhesive, the steam cleaner will fuck them beyond repair!

  • you guys are the BOMB ..keep it up!!

  • no wonder the water was that dirty... with all the poo in those underwear

  • nice one boys, made boring subject pretty entertaining, I even watched it to the end!!

  • @ShadowCrashed81 fuck u dumb shit

  • Great!!!

  • At the store I work at, a small one without the cleaner will cost $24, a large on is $26. The cleaner ranges anywhere from $5-$20 extra depending how much you buy.

  • Moog you're hilarious LOL

  • Been watching a bunch of your videos and they are all great. Keep up the good work.

  • just got a car from the dealer previously owned and im really feeling the rug doctor! can you use it on leather?

  • no leatherrr

  • funny!!! i liked the little boxer shorts skit. thanks!

  • I love it. Very informative and fun to watch. Just make sure to dump that sewage inside the toilet, and not on the grass.

  • Here in the States. Rug doctors and similar machines can be found at your local Walmart, your Home Depot, your Lowes, or your nearest carpet outlet. Believe it or not, sometimes the retailers will borrow them from the display, and use them to clean the store or the carpet products.

  • so funny ... 5 stars

  • where do u get them rug doctor things from in Aust?

  • Most Supermarkets have them out the front.

  • hey u guys want a car to mod for your show?

I just bought a 08 lancer and have ALL the parts to make it look like EVO X.

    :) love tha show

  • For the Aussie viewers. Here in Sydney NSW you can hire these rug doctor machines from Woolworths. they range up to $30.

    Greetings from NICARAGUA (Central America)

  • thats not from my car hahaha

  • mighty car mods can u do a show on how to install and mount a body kit. im finding it hard to find people in aus who make them. thanks

  • dude these guys are in aus aswell..... and if u cant find someone to do it u must b like in the middle of nowhere..... any crash repair shop can do them and plenty of others will to

  • Should you change the water after cleaning each seat?

  • No need to. Just change the water when it's full of intergalactic crud from the previous owner.

  • nice!

  • i took the socks out last week pal....they re gone

  • you guys should have your own show!

  • They sorta do haha.

  • Does it work on leather?

  • i wouldnt use it on leather, the heat and moisture would probably cause splitting and cracking

  • can't you steam clean leather? get a professional... maybe around $100 USD. that's what i would do, or maybe wipes? but then wipes leave chemicals which is exactly the opposite of what you would want... ya dig. i'd probably go with steam cleaning leather mate ;)

  • you can just get leather re conditioner at your local autoparts store. works amazingly

  • i did this to my car.... and the water was straight up black! it is a good idea to do this to your car. just don't add too much soap if any at all. even water is good. but soap would be good for killing bacteria.

  • did this today after watching the vid a few days ago

    came up soo nice

    very happy with results

now will black all the black bits

  • you guys are awesome ,voted

  • I actually tried this and it does work. ive done it to like 5 car already, twice. some stains do require a brush but if u do this like once a year its easy, but i got the idea from this. it really works. and the water does come out that dirty. great job on the show. you guys should have been the host for top gear aus. even though im in america. thanks guys

  • nasty cars lol, even my jeeps never got that bad offroading and top down

  • Hey thanks man I never though of that, nice job!

  • grunge = nirvana

  • Yes that GTi-R is sick! Also if you have a wet-dry shop vacuum you can just buy the carpet cleaner, use a good sturdy scrubbing brush and suck it all up with the vac. The one I have has 6 hp and has just as much if not more than the one they used.

  • Nice vid

  • GTi-R FTW!

I may have to rent one of these.

  • Do you realise that real steam cleaning machines actually clean using real steam.

  • Noice work guys....how about some human slime soup??? Soilent green, anyone?

  • Informative and entertainment...

  • lol, excellent...beats feeding $ into the vac @ the car wash.

  • all of your videos are sick.. love uhm

  • human slime is freakin gross!!! gotta get me one of those cleaners

  • hahahaha! Brilliant!

  • does steam cleaning the seat get rid of the smell in them(dog pooed on seat lol)?

  • Yes it does help rid the car of unwanted smells, as well as bacteria, dirt and other nasties hiding in the seats.

  • @3ggrol1 now thats just nasty!

  • when you said "first wet the seat", what did you mean?

  • if you grab one of those cleaners, you'll see it sprays in the upholstery cleaner solution before vacuuming it up again... will make sense when you have a go!

  • oh, ok. thanks:)

  • Any tips on cleaning leather seats while we're tidying the interior?

  • we don't drive cars with leather interiors... maybe we should set up a donations account 'get moog and marty better cars'

then we can show you how to clean them :)

  • No I A THE SPACE WIZZARD!

  • Haha i love this show.

  • bunnings stocks them.

  • your local supermarket will probably have them, just call around

  • that does a really good job - where did u hire the cleaner from?
