I gave you my heart, I gave you my soul, I even gave you my sphincter hole. Seattle was rainy, Seattle was cloudy, but you gave me a blow job in the back of an Audi. I love you Conley Woods, there I said it...
Turn 2 - use Hierarch and forest to play Khalni Heart Expedition, then play sac land
Turn 3 - Use Forest and Hierarch to play lotus cobra, play another sac land, sac both sac lands, crack khalni heart, tap all mana, and you have 7 mana of whatever colour combination you want
As long as you get the seven cards you need (forest, Hierarch, two fetchlands, Khalni Heart, Lotus Cobra, AND the ultimatum itself) out of the nine you will see by that time and have no disruption of any kind, you're golden.
Turn one Duress, Bolt, or Path severely cripple that draw, though. Negate laughs on turns 2+.
Turn 2: tap birds and forest for cobra and play a fetch land(dont fetch yet)
Turn 3: Play a fetch land, tap both fetch lands for two more lands. Cobra triggers 3 times. tap your three lands and bird for a total of 7 in your pool. Cast Ultimatum(Cruel or Violent)
The forest/other source that made green mana to cast the birds. There is no Green in cruel ultimatum (UUBBBRR), only reason it work for violent is the green mana in its cost.
turn 1 land with or with out birds, turn 2 you play cobra and turn 3 you play fetch sac net two land tap 1 land harrow for 2 mana and 4 land and tap for baloth, for the ultimatum you need the turn 1 bird
Here's his deck as I was working on a Jund Ramp deck today and when I saw this decided to play it tomorrow at FNM. 4 - Lotus Cobra 4 - Khalni Heart Expedition 4 - Harrow 3 - Terminate 4 - Goblin Ruinblaster 2 - Ob Nixilus 4 - Violent Ultimatum 4 - Acidic Slime 4 - Rampaging Baloth 4 - Mold Shambler 23 land
According to Conley, the deck is as follows: 4 Lotus Cobra 4 Khalni Heart Expedition 4 Harrow 4 Violent Ultimatum 4 Mold Shambler 4 Acidic Slime 4 Goblin Ruinblaster X Terminates Y Ob Nixilis Z Rampaging Baloths Where X+Y+Z=60-28-#lands. I'm guessing 3 terminate, 3 ob nixilis, 3 rampaging baloths, and 23 lands. The sideboard is likely to contain 4 Pyroclasm/Jund Charm/Earthquake, 4 Duress, 3 Pithing Needle, 3 Maelstrom Pulse, 1 Terminate
eh, not quite enough to be completely consistent. It is very possible to only have 2 colors. when you can have control of the land they have, say, disabling black in jund, you have a huge advantage. and sorry, but Im assuming Conley is a better player than both you or me
Thats just the way it evolved. Considering how fast he could ramp into his big spells such as Siege-Gang Commander and Acidic Slime, Warpworld became a 'win more' spell. That and if your opponent topdecks really well you can find yourself worst off!

Turn 1: Forest then Birds of Paradise
Turn 2: tap birds and forest for cobra and play a fetch land(dont fetch yet)
Turn 3: Play a fetch land, tap both fetch lands for two more lands. Cobra triggers 3 times. tap your three lands and bird for a total of 7 in your pool. Cast Ultimatum(Cruel or Violent)

You can't do turn 3 cruel....the Green mana stops you
MasterOGA 2 years ago
What do you mean? The cobra's landfall trigger produces any color mana you need.
Veiwer77 2 years ago
The forest/other source that made green mana to cast the birds. There is no Green in cruel ultimatum (UUBBBRR), only reason it work for violent is the green mana in its cost.
MasterOGA 2 years ago
Oh yeah, I guess you're right. Cruel ultimatum would be harder to pull off then.
Veiwer77 2 years ago
although, you could pull off a turn 3 ultimatum in extended, where you can use the Ravnica Block dual lands

turn 1 land with or with out birds, turn 2 you play cobra and turn 3 you play fetch sac net two land tap 1 land harrow for 2 mana and 4 land and tap for baloth, for the ultimatum you need the turn 1 bird

how come you play a Warpworld Deck without Warpworld??
