Anrapa, I wanted to ask you (since you're so great at playing) how to play attacks faster. I want to be able to tongue faster but I seems terribly hard. I am an aspiring student of the trumpet and hope to become as great as you! Please help me out.

No problem! What I mean by "attacks faster" is the tonguing of each note. For instance, I cannot single tongue(or attack) with 16th notes at 120 bpm. I have been tonguing between my top and bottom teeth( like saying thee) rather than at the gumline behind the top teeth( like saying tee). How did you learn to tongue faster? That's basically what I meant.

@theguitarstrumpet The point you tongue is not related very much with the speed. What's more important is how long is the trip to and fro and how ridig and tight is the tongue. Just try to make a shorter movement and keep it smooth and flowing. Hitting harder will only slow you down. Ciao!

Sono fiero di avere fra i miei amici, iscritti ai miei video, un trombettista di questo calibro.

La cosa da ammirare maggiormente è che il solista esegue il pezzo con la sola voce nuda della tromba.

Suonare in questo modo è molto più rischioso perché lo strumentista è sempre scoperto e non può, in nessun momento, celarsi dietro altri strumenti.

Non è particolarmente difficile, è l'interpretazione il vero problema: io non la suona malissimo quanto a tecnica ma non riesco ad imitare lo stile di Lacerenza. Lui è inimitabile!

Quick answer due to the late hour here in Italy: having studied music for many years is an advantage, a big one!

The trumpet you hear is in B Flat, no instrument can be in "minor" or "Major".

One thing is sure, you DO need a teacher if you want to play trumpet, self teaching is not a wise thing!!!
