Bethesda is by far the best game developers of all time, bar none.

Fallout 3 and Skyrim are two of the best games ever made, and pretty much anything Bethesda develops is going to be a great game. They've raised the bar so high that I can hardly enjoy any other games. Rockstar and Valve are great too, and will put out great games, but Bethesda is just top notch.

The Elder Scrolls are awesome and all, but Bethesda really need to hire some writers.

The main quest in Skyrim was awful, and the characters were just.. holy shit.

Daggerfall and Morrowind were their best, but gameplay wise, Skyrim is an improvement. I just don't see why people think Skyrim set rpg standards high. Despite Dragon Age 2 being a huge fuck up, I actually preferred it over Skyrim. And now I'll just go hide before the flaming starts..

Load times? Yea. You haven't played the game bro. It's good yea but over rated definitely. Compared to everything that is coming out this year. If Skyrim came out this year it would have even gotten close to GotY. @117HaWx if you like rpgs or liked oblivion I reccomend it cuz most people who like those think it's amazing. But if your not sure maybe get it used or rent it so you can atleast save some money if you dont like it. Just remember that its not really an action game so the combat isnt as good as in like god of war but skyrim may be more deep because of all the weapons and leveling up.

right guys im prepared for hate. i didnt think it was near as good as i thought it would be. its good dont get me wrong but it turned out to be a bit repetative for me. every quest, side quest or anything to do with objectives is linked to going into a dungeon/cave/hole or some dingy house. it got a bit depressing and repetative. they need to have more things to do in the open land instead of trecking to a dungeon. my only problem with the game. 8/10

honestly, its a great game, i mean i literately went out and spent $385 on my first game consul and this game, It gets pretty boring pretty fast. It was super fun and entertaining for the first few days but it is a short game and it gets repetitive. And it seems the more i play it the more glitchy it becomes, weather that be dragons eating me when im behind them, or the game freezing itself and my Xbox. Still its a good game wast what i expected though.
