Is this horse even hitched correctly? I couldn't see the if the traces were attached to the singletree and what was that one dangling strap on the right side? If the traces aren't attached, the horse is pulling using only the girth and that's both inefficient and painful...suggest the family check online for how to hitch properly...I'm sure they don't want an accident, or to have the pony made uncomfortable.
