mom passed away last week on the 7th. i was youtubing some of her favorite stuff to share on fb. she didn't go to the highland games or anything like that. she enjoyed the bagpipes. She would play wicked tinkers for my kids as they drove to places like, the museum or the zoo ... now, they love it. My youngest heard me playing this video and he says ... "thats nana's pumpkin song!" We are trying to remember the name of her favorite tinker song to play at her memorial this Saturday.
@catcurious22 - So sorry to hear that. My best wishes and condolences to you all. If I may be of any help in identifying the song you are looking for, please let me know. I'm pretty familiar with most of their tunes. Anything that stands out as a unique feature of the song that you're searching for?
@catcurious22 - Glad that you like the video, but sorry to hear you refer to your mum in the past tense. Was she about the Highland Games much in So Cal?
Great pipe tune, but the side drumming here is just crap - ruins a beautiful pipe tune (and that's coming from a pipe band drummer who likes a good drum accompaniment.)
Wow...what an imbecile. On top of the fact that the didj is one of the oldest instruments on earth, it's a natural fit for Celtic music. The drones of the pipes matched to the right didj makes for a much more lively bass line.

pipes and drums are great, but the didgeridoo is about the most useless instrument ever invented in my opinion

How could this get a three star rating? Despicable. It should be five stars
The Pumpkin's Fancy is the best tune ever written.
