December 25th is celebrated worldwide yet no one bothers to wish the birthday boy a happy birthday. It's like having a birthday party & not inviting the guest of honor.

@AndreasHaugen Hey no need for those kind of words... John Lennon's death was a big deal because he got shot and couldn't be saved. This is sort of like when people say happy birthday to you but you're absent and they can't say that message and feelings to your face so do you have a problem when people say happy birthday to you? John was a starter for music. Everyone loved him even though at one time people got mad for things he had done. but you should not call this pointless... do you agree?

well said mr king! the reality of john's death is an example of something terribly upsetting to try and grasp. luckily he found a way around this obstacle by leaving behind a formidably optimistic and useful body of work as a parting gift to the world. truly one of the greats.
