@Vernondrummer haha I've tried skateboarding and it's not my thing. I just like skating shoes because they are extremely comfortable and they look nice too :)
Please can you tell me...what microphones and what mixing desk do you use? I really want to look into micing my kit up and this set-up sounds great :P
@OSDrummer93 yeah!!! the powerstroke 3 really makes the bass drum sound loud and helps the bass drum cut through in the mix! I really like tama drums. They sound very clean and clear :)
@KidsDynasty I'll be doing a drum tuning video the next time I change my drum heads :) be sure to subscribe to be able to see the video when I upload it. btw: the muffling I use on the bassdrum is just one folded towel pushed against the batter head :)
@dinkyemg haha i wondered for 3 days and cldnt figure it out then i got my guitar and started playing it and just went into the rest of the song and was like 'fuck im retarted' haha
@survivor416 I played a couple of times a Sonor kit a friend of mine had that had the e mad on the bass drum head. it wasn't a very durable head. the sound is good but this head is better. and also the foam ring on the Emad I've read lots of times that with time it breaks or falls off. I have evans head on all the kit but for the bass drum... REMO POWERSTROKE 3 all the way
@bamfreak249 well... I just use Bob Gatzen's tuning method for the bass drum and put a towel against the batter head so the head wont vibrate too much. that way it has a great feel when you hit it. I also use the plastic side of the beaters to get a clickier sound :)
2:26 Psychosocial ;)
BTW I guess you're a skateboarder ---> Circa

@dinkyemg Hey, I was wondering what you use to connect a mixer with a computer. Does it have a USB jack, or what?
2012Romney 2 months ago
@2012Romney I did not connect it to my computer. My camera has 2 XLR inputs soo the audio from the mixer is going directly into the camera

This may sound stupid but......Felt or plastic? Which side of a duo-beater head do you prefer?

@soren1314 not stupid at all! it makes a difference on the sound so it is important. For my tastes, definetely plastic!
