I have a question. I have a JCM2000 and I like to play shred. I want to use the MM4's chorus to blend it with my lead channel on my JCM2000 to get more colour on the tone like Steve Vai does. Do you think that the MM4 is capable of doing this job? I'm asking this because I never had a digital device like this.. Only analoges. I hope you can help me out. And if it's possible, can you please recommend a chorusmodel on the MM4 for my purpose?
oh really? by the way, I have the boss CE-5, what's the distinction between them...? because with my CE-5 I can't produce a sound like that.. thanks for the information =D
@Christian23121987 Well the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was the first Boss stompbox, offering both chorus and vibrato using the same circuit than the Roland Jazz Chorus amp,and it was very big, the CE-5 is today´s version, but using different circuits and parts, so you get a different sound.
Shit ? This thing is 250 bucks..It sounds good though..Sure beats the modulation effects from the pod xt..sounded just like some Electro harmonics and mxr stuff..
dude sweet as video, really helped me make up a decision. do u think the M13 would be just as good? also in order what were the effects called you were using? Thanks dude!
I didn't try the M13, so I can't tell you. I just read that this thing was based on the stomp box modelers and not the effects of the POD, so there's good chance that they're the same.
Thanks for the demo. This just adds to my dilemma, Phase 90, Maxon PT999, or what as far as phasing is concerned, there are so many choices out there, all with similar prices and capabilities, how the hell can you make up your mind?
No man the playings fine, and you're showing the pedal, not running up and down scales. Nice Vid! Question: Can you program the mods to different switches on the pedal?
There are 4 switches on it. On the Delay one the 4th is tap tempo and such, and the first 3 are all used for presets. On here though, you might be able to use all 4. So yes.
These pedals are essentially like having 3 (or 4) seperate pedals.
any volume drop/loss when the pedal is engaged?

I like the sound...

Yes, it's a chorus, the simulation of the Boss CE-1.
It is called Analog Chorus on the Line6.

Good Vid.
Couple of questions, are you running it straight to the amp? is it a tube amp? or solid?
I own one, and I have a problem with volume drop when I activate it, I read a on the web that some people have it too, do you have this problem?

As for the names of the effects :
1&2 = phaser
3&4 = analog chorus
5&6 = analog flanger
7&8 = opto tremolo
9&10 = rotary drum and horn
11 = pitch vibrato
Hope it helps.
