"The Jester Race" of In Flames. Its just pure Epicness.

@schwarzerFalkeunten So popularity is the gauge then for the perceived "goodness" of a song? So if this song was more popular than stuff from Slaughter of the Soul, you'd dislike it? This is a good song whether or not it's popular, but what if it was crap like some stuff on early At The Gates releases? I don't consider a bad song good just because it was done by guys who did great things later, or the other way around. Life is learning, so is music. Some go down different paths.

Popularity ain't bad, but Slaughter of the Souls is only considered a "masterpiece" by little kids and the Gothenburg-loving faggots and is incredibly overrated. And you don't want an album to be popular just because it's loved by poseurs and little kids who don't know a damn thing.

@Simpson654 he meant this is better than sots because of the way sots is structured which is poppy and rather mediocre...it makes it an accessible album to unaccustomed ears which means its popular but that also means its not that musically compelling...sots just has no fire
