This game absolutely loves a fast hard drive, but adding AI is all on the Cpu and Memory. Having a weaker Gpu only makes things worse, in the obvious, but then it's eating Cpu cycles.

I can max it just fine using a standard RAID setup. Phenom II 965@ 4.16, 6GB DDR3 1800 OCZ Platinum, 2x 5870's Xfire.

Even with the new rig, before the RAID, it ran really well. But still, the game just really needs a fast HDD, it gets ppl off guard because it's the last bottleneck you'd think of.
