  • what's the point if you don't leave the long and hard quote on the screen long enough for people to read?

  • yeah, you need to leave the text on the screen longer and better contrast the text color from the background color--didn't you watch it before you posted? some of the text is unreadable, and not everybody is a speed reader--you were not motivated by the desire to achieve a good video or by the desire to beat other's videos

  • why was hitler shown in this video?

  • @Soulbreakergx

It went well with the quote.

  • @Soulbreakergx If you read the quote associated with the picture it is because he instituted a government that was free to do anything and people were only allowed to do things by permission. Which is one of the darkest periods of human history the rule of the brute.

  • @Soulbreakergx Because He was an awesome man that wanted to change the world in his own image, that is why. If you payed attention to the vid you would not be asking this...

  • I have enjoyed the books of Ayn Rand for many years and do not understand why some find her thoughts so threatening or subversive. They are the thoughts of one who thinks for oneself and wants the same for others, whom she overestimates as being as rational as she was.

  • The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me

  • news flash... Ayn Rand was a mistress to a Rothschild... she's part of the plan... and they will use any way they can to get you to deviate from the will of God... PERIOD! Selfishness is not the answer... Self-lessness is when man is at his best... hard to do it in a capitalist society... socialism ISN'T the way either so dont label me... understand the history of the people you "ADMIRE" and know who they are... know the agenda!

  • Communist pinko hippy liberal motherfucker. Are you gonna make us all worship big brother Obama next. War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength to you, right?

  • to individualistic to my taste ...

  • Awesome! There was this amazing public discussion on Man's Rights by Ayn Rand yesterday evening in my area. :) Luckily it was based on a short (7 page) article type deal, so I had plenty of time to read and annotate it. *grins* Very great video!

  • " A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others."

That literally sent a chill through my body.

  • Ayn Rand was an extraordinary woman

  • I do not care for Ayn Rand's take on reality.

  • I know the vudeo could have more quality. nobody is obligated to watch

  • I also look at and appreciate the quotes. I initiated, organized and hosted my first Ayn Rand lecture last night and it was a great success!

There is a hunger for all things good!

  • I still listen to this singer many times. Her voice is well developed with great tone, great range. Very pleasant to listen to.

Very real, much like the ideas of Ayn Rand clear and direct with no compromise on quality. I love it!

  • Great video.

    Rand was wonderful.

    Very passionate and very rational.

  • White words in front of white pictures. It was a struggle for me to read it.

  • i agree - had the makings of a good video but too hard to read. i give up!

  • pathetic frankly is all i can say to those of you... i am 13 years old i am in the process of reading Ayn Rand's masterpiece Atlas shrugged and i can already tell you that the philosophy of Ayn Rand does not make her quite frankly a "capitalist bitch" she never said to exploit the poor you obviously have no idea what you are talking about so if you would please actually understand objectivism and Ayn Rand's philosophy and read Atlas Shrugged then do not post here

  • whoa i just realized my brother never logged off his account i'm really the one that posted this hahaah

  • I'd give you a thousand thumbs up if it would let me.

  • And for that matter, "Atlas Shrugged" was the most over blown, over rought, over dramatic, over long, boring, soppy piece of shit I have ever read. What makes that stupid bitch think that in that new utopian society that the capitalist would want to take the artists with them? Especially a hack like her.

Her family left Russia because the people her family used had enough. My only regret is that she escaped.

  • I don't believe you read Atlas Shrugged or understand Rand's philosophy.

Her dad owned a Pharmacy or something like that. They weren't rich. She came to America by herself and worked low income jobs until her writing career took off.

I don't see why everyone thinks Rand wanted everyone to be poor.

  • If I could unread "Atlas Shrugged" I would.

She was too bourgeois and condescending to even be middle class.

And no, she did not want to make people poor, she wanted to keep people poor. She was pro-Vietnam War. She wanted the Vietnamese people to remain under the yoke of foreign rulers like the French and the Americans, and thus a another cog in the capitalist machine. The Vietnamese drive for indepence was not purely Communist. It was nationalist.

  • She opposed the vietnam war, go to the ayn rand website and read for yourself.

Furthermore, exactly what did uoi find condescending? Page number and paragraphs if you please.

  • @radioblueheart you don't know what you're talking about buddy. She wanted the poor to remain poor if they did nothing of value. Likewise, the rich should remain rich if they continue to create value.

  • @oitotheworld23

She wanted the poor to remain poor so they would not become a threat to her and her wealth. She simply did not wish to "share her toys."

It is a great irony of history that she was Jewish, otherwise she would have made a fantastic Nazi. She was good at passing social-Darwinist propaganda crap as art.

Also, its too bad she didn't stay in Russia so she could get a Mosin-Nagant shoved up her capitalist cunt.

  • @radioblueheart

Dude are you someone just living off welfare and you feel entitled to money you have not earned? Try to back up the statement that she wanted the poor to remain poor so they wouldn't become a threat to her wealth. Her wealth was independent of poor peoples' poverty. You sound extremely ignorant. Please read her philosophy before making such ridiculous, wrong statements.

  • It is a logical fallacy to say that because someone had or did not have some motive then their argument falls or stands. An argument is merited on the logic behind it, only.

  • Exploiting the poor, lol. Get real.

  • "We proletariat "LOL. A little anachronistic with your vocabulary. I guess it sounds romantic. I am actually unemployed and not remotely close to rich. But, like a true pseudo intellectual, you assumed a lot more.

Hey, i see nothing wrong with work hard, pay little taxes and enjoy life. Stop looking at your pay as "wage slavery" and get a real life.

  • The sad thing is that you were programmed as an American to believe what's good for the upper class is good for everyone, including yourself. How did you lose your job? Is your employer paid up with the right people to get all tarrifs and regulations removed to ship it elsewhere? And they probably got a nice fat tax break to go along with it.

You are worse off than me. A "wage slave" that is no longer useful. What is useless is not profitable and thus discarded.

  • The singer's voice here is beautiful! The song is beautiful even though I do not understand the words. Who is she? What is she singing? I listen to her over and over again while at my desk working. Can anyone tell me where I can get a CD of her or her songs? Thanks.

  • Yenom, the music is from the last Caffe del Mar album. Whom is sing is Willo and the is a version of Aria Otello.

  • Ayn Rand was not a libertarian

  • Libertarian is just a key word.
