great idea, seems to be sturdier than the frugal film makers version, would have been better if camera was closer, so we could see more detail. Would be great if you showed also how you made the stand. Great pity. Look forward to more video and tutorials from you.

Here was my shopping list for each stand: 2 - 3/4" Sch 40 PVC 10' Length 2 - 3/4" PVC T's 3 - 3/4" PVC 45's 1 - 3/4" PVC Elbow 3 - 3/4" PVC End Caps 4 - 3/4" PVC Couplers 1 - 3/4" PVC Plug 1 - 1/4-20 Bolt, Nut and Washers Measurements for Legs: Short (Bottom) = 20" Middle = 22 3/4" Long (Top) = 25 1/2"

Just completed my own set of 4 stands... I made 2 Two foot sections and 1 One foot section as my elevation. Any combination of these will work. Just depends on how high you need your stand. I mounted the light with a 3/4" PVC Plug, 1/4 inch hole drilled into it, and mounted the light using 1/4-20 Bolt and Nut.
