That's hilarious. "How was your New Year's?" "Oh, it was a life-changing, once in a lifetime experience that broke all concert records on the dawning of the new millennium. How was yours?" "...Good."
He nailed the feeling that we all had and he wasn't even in the audience! That was an incredible night and such a great general vibe. It totally felt like we had all been through a group experience that no one but us, who were there, would truly know what is was really like.
Such a beautiful time in such a serene, tranquil place. I will never forget it. One of the top experiences of my short 27 years on this earth. I was only 17 at the time. Still can't believe my family let me go! Thanks Mom
ive been a phish fan forever and this was BY FAR the best thing theyve ever done. i left feeling that they had done all they could do for me, and that all future phish was bonus fun time for me. i still feel that way..and still love our phish...glad to see em back!!!!1
I'm glad to hear him talk about Big Cypress like this. I think that he feels like the vast majority of us who attended did. That feeling of togetherness was huge.
Such a great time. A peak moment in this man's life.
one of the highlights of my life as well.. i was lucky enough to talk to trey about the show a few years ago.. great to know that we were all on the same cosmic plane..
I WAS THERE!!!

Trey has this glow in his eyes that i haven seen before. He seems to be a happier person since he has been sober.

this is unbelievable. i love his enthusiasm to talk about it 10 years later... especially considering it was a direct cause of their first hiatus.
