read the "Learn to Play Go" series by Janice Kim. It will make you stronger very quickly.

Read a book called Rapid Chess Improvement by Michael Dela Maza and apply the concepts and principles he lays out in the book. Actually, the info contained in the book is how Korean teach and practice in Korean circles.

nice vid I'm 15 kyu and I got 14 years to become pro cause the age limit in japan is 30 and I'm not crazy enough to try the korean pro test unless I was the strongest ametuer dan in the world like jie li I'm hoping to reach 10 kyu in about 3 months so what are your goals for Go HW9x9?

When i started to play go in november 2003 people said that it would be impossible for me to become 1d because i am too old( i am 41 now), but i thought i could become 5d.

Now i am not so sure anymore; i like to become 2d within 2 years.

thats cool I can understand why they would say that because it's belived younger people can read moves out easier than adults but see you proved them wrong reading moves is easy for me but I have my share of problems in attack I can get a teaching game from strong players who I know online but I haven't been I need to to get stronger well I hope you achieve your goal of 2d and good luck
