Seasons is a classic progressive album, with solid musician and production team, produced by Gus Dudgeon/Tony Visconti....and Rick Wakeman was there too. Beautiful music voice and lyrics, you couldn't get anything like this nowadays, my all time favorite.

"Seasons" is up there with "Brothers in Arms", "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

I saw Simon And Garfunkel last month in Brisbane, what a pity I'll never see that old Magna Carta line up

So. I finally get to see Davey Johnstone's old group. They were wonderful. During the late 60s as a kid I heard a little bit of that style played on the radio and then I blinked and it was all over with. I absolutely love the Elizabethan music in the pop genre. That's probably why I joined my local Early Music Society.

Magna Carta were never Davey Johnstone's group - he was a temporary addition to the group, that was formed by Chris Simpson. Nevertheless, he was damned good with them!
