If you line your bowl with a couple layers of cheesecloth, then you could just squeeze the whey out into the pot and it would be less cumbersome for you with that heavy bowl and pressing with your other hand. I love that you are making cheese, something I have wanted to try! I make my own yogurt and it is great!
@atticus9799 hey atticus. I know. it is a little bit awkward doing it this way. However, we tried to cheesecloth and a strainer but the curds break up too much. You don't want the curds to be too dry or else they wont mat together when kneading resulting in a crumbly cheese. Thanks for commenting!
