  • Voting FibDem is like unknowingly going to bed with a transexual and ending up with cock up your arse

  • Clegg you cheap piece of sellout shit, go fuck yourself!

  • great!! :-)

  • You are no diffrent from the other spineless vermin in Westminster Mr Clegg. A couple of weeks into leadership and you break a manifesto promise for your own agenda? Fuck you man, you are the kind of tyrannical scum who promotes liberty in public, then signs away your rights behind closed doors. You should be ashamed of yourself Mr Clegg!!!

  • The Liberal Democrats are NOT a socilaist party but a Liberal party!!!! The majority of Labour party members are still Socailist at heart just as the majority of Tories are still Thacherites, despite what David Cameron will try and have us think!!

  • There are also Thatcherite Labourites and Social Conservatives who claim to be centrist. Now centrism isn't a bad thing, but is if it's coming from Labour or Conservative, as they're usually split parties when that happens and, like what happened with Tony, may end up hurting our country. LibDems are the true centrists, going by what the people want, and they respect our civil rights and liberties, apposing government intervention.

I have a feeling they may win this election or next.

  • Traitor.

  • every time i visit liverpool i am attacked. regeneration lol how about demolition!

  • I dont think thats anyone's fault but your own ;)

  • any excuse to win floating votes (-_-)

  • You write that as though it's a bad thing. Everybody does it and there's nothing wrong with it.

  • permitted everyone does it, but it doesnt mean its right.

need i remind you, that using the example of "old labour" to "new labour" after the clause 4 change, all the nations socialists got screwed over. just because labour wanted to go for the floating voters.

permitted they won the election because of it, but neglecting those socialist they were originally there to represent just seems un democratic.

  • So you'd rather they say something they don't agree with?

  • It is unfortunate that liberal democrats are the most socialist party in Britain. I am personally a libertarian socialist, but I would vote liberal democrat because its views are closest to my own. Thats party politics for you.

  • pardon me? have you read the Orange Book at all?

  • nah thats Nu Labour

  • ...or from another viewpoint - any and all effort to engage people with a message and language we recognise as human - not political.

Nick Clegg is like an antidote to political politics - he cuts through the facade and speaks with a passion for his purpose.

  • "with a passion for his purpose"

slightly on a tangent here, but i doubt its possible nowadays for any superior, unique speaker to emerge. Which in my opinion, is why political particpation [excluding pressure groups etc] is in dedline, and has been for years.

Bring me the likes of Winston churchhill, and his speaches that have been echoed through the ages, give me a modern politican that can do that, then they will be vote worthy.

  • ...just give me truth

  • @tinalouiseuk you'll see

  • Bring on the party conference!

This will be a good one no doubt.
