@graybogey The brakes, yeah. The exhaust could be a Eisenmann exhaust (which often is installed on an M5). The only thing that really gives it off is the sound :D (and ofc the engine itself, but you can't always look under the bonnet :P)

Awesome ride. Don't listen to other posts. You did not put a M5 sticker in the rear. It looks even better than a stock 530i, so you're awesome in my book. Those other guys complaining mod their bimmer and it ends up looking like a 1998 nissan sentra.
Looks nice...add the rear spoiler and I think your good...just please dont put any M tags on it and take the M tag off the side vents...very convincing tho until you see the interior

You are right about all this but there is one more thing to it: by doing this he makes people that don't know all too much about beemers think the M5 is slower than it actually is. It's making a bad rep. It's more fun to make a sleeper (change badge from for example 540 to 525) and smoke any Lancer or so that thinks he has a chance in a race, if you know what I mean.. So please, at least never put an M5 badge on that car. That would be a shame and you should burn in hell for such a bad deed. =)
I converted my 530i too. Here is the breakdown: 2004 530i w/sport pak $25K, M5 kit $1800, install and paint $1800, Chrome m5 19" wheels $1000 (from an m5 owner who changed her wheels out) tires $1200, misc 800. I am into the converstion for about $30K now. My insurance is $800/yr, mpg 24 city 29 hwy.
A used E60 M5 $60-$68K, insurance $2k/yr, mpg maybe 13. I think I have saved more than $35K. Although, I can't go 0-60 in under 4 seconds. But I did hear about a twin turbo for the 530i.
The car looks great, but I question why you would go through the expense of trying to make your car look like an M5. I know the video is an attempt to drum up business for Schmiedmann ( or so it appears )
The car doesn't even have the Sport Package.
Isn't it better to save your money and buy a used E60 M5, instead of having to explain why you made a 530i " Look like " an M5 ?
Because a 530i ISN'T an M5, not by a long shot. But I bet those mods cost a bundle.

@sid203 hi just wanna give u brief abt the price...i this case in malaysia... E60 530 new listed at abt MYR 500k (USD 150k+)..and E60 M5 abt MYR 900k (USD 270k)...and for recond they listed at MYR200k and MYR500k respectivly ....mod to m5 from 530 only coz a few K's.... and thats why .....
@sid203 however I don't mean to spoil ur comment but a JB3 upgrade on a 5 series will give better 0-62 times and there also a wider range of modifications as BMW M tune most of their costs to the max. However you're still stuck with the fact knowing by yourself that it isn't an M5.
