i have to download like 10gs of patches and so when i did 10 day free trial, i play it on streaming data(which suxs but was designed for 10 day free trials). any way to make it download one by one?btw it play fine with 4.0 gs just the huge amount of patchs in a total of 1.3.3 patches.

XP's total memory limit is 4gb, meaning it will never recognize 4gb of RAM. It is the limit of the x86 architecture without PAE and there's nothing you can do about that.

1GB of RAM is the minimum you can to play. You'll have terrible fps though. I know I do at 1.5GBs.

1GB on Xp is fine. Might experience lag on Warband raiding though. Vista you will want 2gb.

32Bit vista can only take 3.5GB I have 3.2 and running it on Max setting no lag at all.

Try doing orvr on 1gb. It will crash and burn.

Try using Vista with 4gb... writing to your swapfile due to memory leaks all the time is fun!

You're just another THIS GAME NEEDS AWSUM HARDWARE fanboy. After playing the latest fps games on decent graphical settings, previous MMOs on the highest with 80 man city raids and so on, all on 1gb ram, I'm sure 1gb can handle anything WAR can throw especially with the system hogging video settings off. Every game I buy people overstate what the req are, when in reality it's about half of that.

This game drastically UNDERSTATES the reqs. Mainly because it needs some serious optimization.

If you think you'll do fine in large orvr battles on 1gb, think again. You are incorrect.

You need at least a decent dual core and 2gb RAM (or 4gb+ in Vista - I wont run Vista with less than 8 personally) and a decent video card. Anything better than that runs the game almost exactly the same, but anything less will work for pve, but not for pvp at all.

If you played it, you'd know.
