This is only talk. John McCain has received failing scores from the League of Conservation Voters and Defenders of Wildlife - and those are nonpartisan organizations. Those scores are based on the facts of what John McCain actually DOES in the Senate, not what he SAYS.
Mccain says one thing to the press, and he votes completely different. Look at drilling in Alaska. He acted like he was against it.
