How do we even know there will be any MK9 news? Ed Boon has barely even mentioned MK9 on his Twitter account. All he does is talk shit and sound off about stupid random current world events. I don't even think he's going to E3 this year. He certainly hasn't mentioned it. And with little information being given, no screenshots, no game trailers, it's safe to say that MK9 most likely won't be out this year.

@StudioGuyMN Actually, Ed Boon has said on his Twitter that they've been recording motion capture for the Fatalities, along with other devs mention things about it here and there on their Twitters. And there are a couple of actresses that mentioned doing voice work for characters (I think it was Sonya and Kitana).

As for a release date, it was said that it might come out by Xmas 2010, but that might be just a rumor...hopefully not. :)
